Last time I watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone with my friends and during the scene in the Hogwarts Express when Ron wanted to bewitch Scrabbers, my friend asked: "What if the spell works but Scrabbers didn't turn yellow because he wasn't a real rat?"

And now I'm still thinking about it.

Do you remember the spell Fred gave to Ron to turn Scabbers yellow and how it didn't work? What if the reason why it didn't work was because Scabbers was really Peter Pettigrew?

I think it does not work because it was not a real spell and maybe because it was Peter Pettigrew, but I’m not sure. ϟ
