[Continued from Here] @screaming-meme-machine Of all the times for something as illogical as feelings to crop up and throw a twist to his day - and after coming so far already. It happened so suddenly, like someone just wiped away the greyscale of everyday life and you realized you had been seeing everything wrong all along. Thankfully for Aizawa, his focus and determination when it came to a goal was damn hard to shake. Not only did he have to win each match, he was going to show what he could do beyond any doubt. Even if that meant beating this guys ass, he wasn't about to let something emotional and illogical take away his win.
If anything, Aizawa found himself all the more motivated after that bout. He wanted this over fast - wanted to let his eyes and mind adjust to how different everything looked now without having to dodge moves or calculate split second strategy. The crowd fed that he was pulling out all the stops by the announcer - of course he wasn't. He was just in a damn hurry and these protracted fights were more annoying than entertaining to him. Even when he took his place on the podium and that coveted number one spot - he simply gave a little wave and waited until they were done the formalities so he could vanish from the field and the crowd. He didn't have much in the way of friends, so he didn't really have anyone he cared to celebrate with. Of course, there was someone he supposed he should pay a visit to.
He nodded to a few folks in passing, stopped a faculty member to ask how the blonde guy was and if he was still resting in the recovery room. He knocked at the door lightly as a heads up, poking his head into the room and catching sight of the one he'd come looking for before joining him quietly.
"...Sorry if I got carried away..."
