The Day From Hell

I made a reservation at another motel and paid for it online on Tuesday. Today, we went through hell packing up without any help from Dave and made our way to the other motel. Mind you, it's in the 90s which means it's over 100 in the van. NO AC!!

My 16 yr old drove the van. The very same van that needs a new rack and pinion. The very same van has a wheel that is too hard to turn. It's like not having power steering.

The kid did great. Plus she busted her butt to get us packed and moved. She's also a great driver.

So we get to the other place and they claim we stole 3 pillows. I know I sure as hell didn't and neither did @helly-watermelonsmellinfellon. I bring a huge pile of m own pillows everywhere I go. They initially wanted to charge me $30 for them. Then they decided we couldn't stay there and they wouldn't refund me my money. @helly-watermelonsmellinfellon went in and spoke with the manager. Apparently, Dave walked out with 3 pillows. So again, Dave's dumb ass screwed us over.

Eventually, I called and got the refund but it takes 7-10 days to go through. Meanwhile, we are cooking in the van with no place to go. And now we really have no money.

My youngest called her brother and he sent us money via Cash App so we can get out of the heat. So we are in a different place on the 3rd floor. I am disabled. You have no idea what I went through to get to the room.

The ac isn't working and my cane is slipping all over the floor, so now I'm scared of falling again. At least we are not stuck in the direct heat.

We are homeless with no hope in sight of that ending any time soon. We are already down and dealing with depression. Why do we constantly get kicked while we are down? Life isn't fair but I have been dealing with nonstop bull sh*t since 2015. I'm fed up. I'm tired. I don't know how much more I can take.

My youngest is the real hero of today. Even her bf came to help. I'm just so tired of all the crap getting shoveled on top of us.

It’s crazy to me that some of these booktok popular authors are publishing multiple books a year… like I think sticking to a yearly book contract is bad and takes away from the depth so I can’t even imagine what writing a book in six months (technically less due to editing) is like.🧍‍♀️

Does anyone know when Oprah Winfrey and Harry are coming out with their mental health series for Apple? I’m asking because they now have an exclusive with Netflix.

  Maybe someone can answer if there is a conflict of interest and what deal does Apple have with the Prince? This could be a deal breaker.
