Days 14-15: Wait for it…wait for it…and then keep waiting. After all, that's one of the theme of today's block. Today we're sewing a non-descript building in Jerusalem, one where some of the disciples may have retreated to after a harrowing Friday. I can imagine them there, consoling each other, sharing fears alongside hopes. The two yellow windows, with the lights (candles) still on, are meant to represent these same disciples, up late at night as they wait. Today's block is a forgiving one with some options to make it a tad easier, as you'll see in the video, if you don't want to piece the grass - but of course I recommend that you do. The blades of grass will break up the straight lines of the building and create a lovely effect of a building nestled among the greenery.
