Pak recalled her first visit to the Wizard as a nightmare, because after the "forest" potion she was feel sick for at least a week (but it was worth it later). But then fishman decided to visit Magnus again, as she learned that new settlers had arrived in Pelican Town... Pak thought that a skinny-nerd-dude would get into the Wizard's apprenticeship, but turned out she was wrong!
another silly sketch. i always thought that lance from expanded mod had pointy ears but only recently realized that he doesn't 💪😔 so i drew him with pointy ears lol
🍂💚BEHOLD, MORTALS!💚🎃
🌱Let me introduce you to what is probably the best Stardew Valley UI mod I've ever seen. Whimsical, thoughtful, unique, and detailed. 🌿
A dark brown ornate-like ui with green+gold accents. Some Mod Compatibility + Configurable to turn some features off. Mobile included but no
Guess who was quiet because he was working to draw every single character with a portrait in sdv :] These are all on my Red Bubble already
This is only half the characters in the game plus Suki (the traveling cart merchant according to expanded) and the concerned ape mask. These were all done by requests in a server, hence why Clint looks off and the order of people is so random
Commission info Red Bubble part 2
I'm still drawing all these characters, this took a lot of energy to make so reblogs are greatly appreciated
Also Junimos!!!
Close ups below (boy there are so many)
[SDV] Bachelors x Reader Who Can't Do Make-Up
Summary: Anon does a pretty good job of explaining what's going on here, pfft.
Warning(s): Just fluff and good vibes here! No explicit warnings
Side Note(s): Since I didn't feel like doing all of the SDV and RSV bachelors/bachelorettes. I decided to just pick my favorite characters! ✨ (I'll have to write about Faye and Victory more often— I like their personalities ngl)
If you guys don't know about Victor from SDV Expanded. I HIGHLY recommend to take a look at him, he's super sweet. I love him sm
Sam
Intrigued but also slightly nervous.
Since he had first met you, he can't really recall a time when you've actually worn make-up...and he can't really bring himself to count lipstick because, from his knowledge, that type of thing was easy! All you had to do was move the lipstick applicator on your lips!
But, nonetheless, he tried to have faith in you and your skills!
So, one day, when the two of you were free? You had decided to sit your boyfriend down and do his make-up! Lashes, eyeshadow and a bit of eyeliner, some lipstick. You were intent on making sure that he got all dolled up and that he looked as glamorous as you knew he could be!
And to make sure that you were really on the money? You even followed a makeup tutorial!
So—why was everything looking so wrong?
One of the lashes was attached to the bottom instead of the top.
The lipstick was smeared and made the blonde look as if he had just finished trying to wipe it off. The eyeshadow was matching his skin right, and you had accidentally slipped the eyeliner pen into Sam's far too many times to the point where you gave up on it completely!
Sam, however, you thought the man had a tail wagging behind him with how excited he was to see your masterful, gruesome handiwork.
And it wasn't like you could just suddenly wipe it all off in the blink of an eye...so after quickly saying "Please don't laugh" to Sam and handing him a mirror.
He opened his eyes and immediately burst out laughing.
"You dick!" You shouted. "I told you not to laugh, I tried my best!" You pouted, Sam's laughing only increasing in volume the more you told him not to laugh, and whined about how you weren't good at make-up in the slightest.
Yet the laughing wasn't born from a placeof making fun of you and was something born of genuine amusement!
Sure, was he going to walk around in your handiwork?
No.
Buuuuttttt he liked it because you did it! And he got to spend more time with you to boot! So...pros and cons.
You immediately wiped the makeup off his face the second that Sam wasn't dying from laughter and you never did it again lol.
Haley
You knew that Haley liked her makeup done in a particular way.
That was your first warning.
The second warning came when you sat her down and asked her if you could do her makeup, and she immediately hit you with a look of pure hesitation and doubt. From what Haley understood, your and her dynamic was that she did your makeup and made you look all pretty!
Haley knew what colors you liked, as well as your foundation and everything else!
Then came the third warning, the look of pity Haley momentarily flashed you as she settled into a mood of not wanting to hurt your feelings by denying your request to do her makeup. You had looked at her with such an excited and hopeful look that she practically melted on the inside instantly!
And besides—she didn't know, you could've improved your skills behind her back!
So, there she sat, once she had closed her eyes, Haley did her best not to flinch when the soft touch of a brush came onto her skin. She tracked the movements, feeling it drag and pat against her cheeks and even lightly touch her eyelids.
From what she was able to tell? It seemed like you were doing well!
For the briefest of moments, Haley thought that there was nothing to worry about and that her darling girlfriend had picked up some of her skills without her noticing!
As for you, however— you knew Haley was going to jump at the sight of her face.
You got too bold. The blush on Haley's cheeks looked decent, as well as the lipstick! But, where you truly failed? The eyeshadow and trying to blend it, it looked as if a toddler had tried to color on her skin! And the eyeliner...it was all smudged!
And in the process of trying to figure out how to fix your mistakes, your girlfriend had become impatient and decided to blink open her eyes, the brief dash of hope you saw in her eyes only making you feel even worse as, before you could even notice, Haley had slipped the facial mirror from off of your lap and gazed at her silence.
"H-Haley—" You gulped at the silence that followed. So quiet that you could've heard a pen drop from the next town over. "Haley...I really tried, babe! I promise you!"
A heavy sigh followed, and the mirror was slowly placed down onto the floor next to Haley. "You're never doing my makeup again." She huffed. "It looks terrible, babe!" You whined like a kicked pup, resulting in Haley pressing a kiss onto your forehead. "Aw, but it's okay, baby. Let's just agree that...doing makeup is more of my thing, okay?"
And if the message wasn't clear then, the message was clear now. Haley was the makeup artist, not you.
Jio
Allow me to cut this short, Jio knows damn well that you can't do makeup.
You think that he hasn't seen your attempts already with how observant he is of you on a normal day-to-day basis? It's only because he doesn't want to hurt your feelings that he hasn't already gone ahead and told you, "Baby, stop it. Your makeup skills aren't that good."
But, a small part of him wished that he had when, one day, you came up to him and said that you wanted to do his makeup as practice.
At first, he tries to redirect the attempt by asking, "Why don't you use yourself as practice before me?" Only for you to say that you think that he'll look prettier, something something, getting inspiration from some elves in a movie you watched (Lord of the Rings)
And seeing as you're in one of your more determined moods—Jio has no choice but to let you do his makeup, closing his eyes and surrendering himself to the hopeful expertise of your brush.
Though rather than focusing on doing his makeup, you're more entranced by how pretty Jio naturally looks. Just adding a simple hint of eyeshadow around his eyes only heightens his already ethereal features and makes him seem even more out of your league!
But you try not to get too distracted, using the image you had in your mind as your brush's guide as you tried to lightly put on eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, and—oh dear, it was starting to go wrong.
He knew it was starting to go wrong when you began to hesitate in your movements.
"Problem?" You lightly smacked Jio's nose with the tip of the eyeshadow brush.
"No..." You said. "Doing fine! Hold still."
And hold still he did, eventually chuckling to himself when you still refused to make another move, causing the elf to eventually open his eyes and look at his reflection in the facial mirror on his lap.
The silence was more potent than his words, as well as the sigh that followed before Jio looked at you with a raise of his brow. "Beloved, perhaps...perhaps some more training is needed, no?"
Aka boyfriend-talk for "Don't do my makeup again, please."
Faye
To be frank, she didn't know what to expect when you randomly asked if you could do her makeup.
She was neither nervous nor excited (besides the excitement that came from the prospect of spending time with you).
After all, she had never seen you do or wear makeup before! All that she was familiar with was you wearing the occasional lipstick. But, with how confidently you asked her, as well as how happy you looked while popping the question. She decided to let you go ahead and do her makeup!
"I'd like for my makeup to be mostly pink..."
"No, no! Maybe blue?"
"Try a mixture of both!"
Every type of request bounced from her lips as you sat her down on the edge of the bed and prepped the necessary items, all before you told her to close her eyes and wait for you to say that she could open them.
Each touch of the brush tickled her face, and the gentle yet careful way she felt you applied the eyeliner to her eyes only heightened her excitement as she tried to imagine what she would look like with a full face of makeup.
The butterflies of excitement seemed to grow to an impossible degree, causing Faye to practically dance where she sat until you finally laughed and allowed her to open her eyes and look in a mirror. Only for...a mixture of disappointment, amusement, and confusion to fill her being as she looked at her reflection.
She looked like a clown that was about to head off to a party!
"Babe?! I thought you knew how to do makeup!?" Faye said to you.
"I do! S-Somewhat...I'm still learning!"
The poor sighed as she walked back into the room, taking a facial wipe to begin rubbing at her face as a few giggles left her lips. "Well...makeup is like designing, I suppose!" She said. "Everyone has a bad design, but you can only improve from there on!" She further stated with confidence.
And as a show of solidarity for her girlfriend? She'd even take makeup classes with you if you were really serious about learning!
June
When you had asked, June was immediately intrigued.
Although he hadn't seen you do makeup before, whether it was on yourself or someone else, he nonetheless wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt and trust in your skills completely!
Besides, you were doing this from a place of genuinely wanting to learn and seeing as June had some minor experience doing makeup, mostly as a way of protecting his face from bright lights when he performed in front of large audiences from time to time, he knew he'd be able to give you some tips if he saw some places here and there that needed improvement.
So, after getting comfortable in a chair and closing his eyes, June allowed you to get to work.
And, admittedly, you were nervous the second you actually had to do his makeup. June already had a natural beauty about him, one that you felt would be ruined if you were to do his makeup terribly!
But he had placed his faith in you, had even given you a few words of encouragement to boot, too!
So, you mustered up your courage and followed the makeup tutorial that was playing beside you, following each and every step to the letter until you were finished.
And even you could tell that the finished result wasn't the best.
"Are you done?" June's gentle voice snapped you from your thoughts.
"Kinda...yes? It doesn't look like how the tutorial said it was supposed to look!"
As June opened his eyes, your hands were already holding a mirror up to his face; it took all of his power not to immediately flinch at the sight. Blush was only supposed to go on the cheeks, and it seemed like you had given up putting lipstick on him halfway and tried to wipe it off, only smudging it in the process! The eyeliner wasn't the best, and you could definitely use some practice.
"You'll—You'll get better, my love." June tried to comfort you with a light laugh. "How about I teach you some things that I know?"
You had a feeling that you wouldn't be doing June's makeup for a long time after this, but hey! At least he had the patience to teach you!
Victor
Similar to many people on this list, he's suspicious from jump street, pfft.
When you approach him one day and ask if you can do his makeup, he doesn't really have to think too far to know that you're not the best at makeup, at best? You're only able to put on eyeshadow and lipstick, and that's about it, which Victory doesn't mind!
To him? It's all about your comfort and happiness, so he's never going to be the type to ask you if you can "learn to do makeup better" to make yourself prettier because, to be frank? You're already really pretty to him, with or without makeup.
Either way, though— after a few 'pleases' and puppy eyes, Victory eventually relents and decides to let you do his makeup (after making sure that he doesn't have any plans to meet anyone afterward, of course)
And he lets you do a whole face on him! Lips, eyes, lashes, you name it, and you've done it.
Each minute that ticks by makes Victor more and more wary and nervous as to what the final result will be, images of absolute clownery flashing through his mind and making him both laugh and sigh in worry as to what he'll look like.
And once you state that you've completed his look and give him a mirror?
He can't help but flinch before a few snorts and chuckles slip through.
"Makeup may not be your best skill, but it can always be learned over time. Though, I do admit I like how funny I look." Victor comforted you before briefly pecking you on the lips and walking off to the bathroom to wash his face.
If you were to ever ask for it, he'd gladly pay for you to take some classes. Hell, he'd even offer himself up again as a practice dummy to see if you improved if you so wished!
My main farmer, Rory!!
She’s mainly with Haley, but I did an stardew valley extended run and married Olivia lol
I was possessed to sketch some of my favorite stardew valley (+expanded) characters today :)
And since I am predictable, here is the wizard and Marlon... But with Morgan ! Because they are very cute and I love them a lot
Next is Shane and Marnie :D
Shane is such a good character, but not as a love interest imo gjkffkkf just let my boy go to therapy- and Marnie is a silly lady and I think she's neat. The quest were she want a cave carrot to teach her goats how to say hello ? Unhinged behavior 10/10
