Mt. Coronet from the Hisui Region in all 4 seasons in: Pokémon Legends: Arceus
avaliable in january, 2022.
saudade
I think I fell in love with him the same way that the seasons come and go.
Our timeline is one of blistering colors and ever changing temperatures with birthdays, school dances, and holidays thrown in the mix and if you linger for too long, you’re looking at January from the perspective of December when you swear it was just July and you were comparing the size and itchiness of your mosquito bites with all your friends. The pink stains of cherry popsicles on white t-shirts turn in to pink cheeks during biting snow storms in November when prayers of school being cancelled are answered.
saiouma season gods-
like- they control one of the four seasons, Kokichi Fall and Shuichi Spring. idk who the other two would be, but that isn't really importaint for the au, so choose who you want
As gods of opposite seasons, the humans who worship them believe they despise one another, many a story told of how they fought so much over the years that their powers of life and death clashing created the other two gods as the universe's way of calming their tempers.
The humans' tellings of their story are nothing but myth, of course. Most everything they deem fact about the gods was mere misinterpretation. In fact, anything they've done that might have been seen by the humans as hostility, was actually pinning. The only thing that had been true was their emotions causing their powers to clash and create the other two gods, but in this case it was their love and not hate.
The two have been in love forever, finding beauty in both the other's powers and looks, however they're both extremely bad at flirting. It's not like they haven't tried, but they're horrible at flirting, and even worse at reconizing romantic interest, and as results they've gotten nowhere.
The other two gods knew good and well the others love for each other had created them, and as such found this bullshit pinning between the two inffuriating. The duo took it upon themselves, as manifestations of Shuichi and Kokichi's love, to play cupid and try to hook them up.
Many of their attempts failed, and they were thinking about just giving up and letting the two oblivious morons pin for eternity, but one of them found out about the human's awful take on their story, and they utilized it to help get them together.
They suggested Shuichi and Kokichi went down to earth with mortal guises, a chance to see how their mortals were doing and partake in their fun. To their complete and utter amazement, this last-ditch effort to get them together worked.
The duo went down, descovering first hand the horrible misinterpretation of their love. When voicing this mutual complaint to each other they accedentally confessed, and to the other two god's relief were together by the time they returned.
To their dismay however, they had caught on to what the other two had done by sending them down there, and Kokichi specifically had made them pay for tricking them like that and they became vicims of the trickster's pranks for a month.
Bonus: I also like the idea that they could possibly have secondary god titles/powers. like- they're mainly known for their season-based abilities, Shuichi bringing forth life and warmth and Kokichi death and cold, but they also have a secondary thing they do.
Like Kokichi's known for being a trickster god, and Shuichi maybe a peace bringer. this also would mean some humans might villianize Kokichi for being a trickster of death that made the peace bringer of life unpeaceful, but hey- just more fule for Saiouma to go "sore wa chiga yo" and hook up.
the other two probably have seoondary titles too, but what those titles are are completly up to y'all and who y'all might choose as the summer and winter gods
Although I definitely do not miss winter, I kind of miss spring. Not for all the stereotypical baby-bunnies-and-flowers reasons, but because people were so happy about so little. People would be like "guys it's gonna be 45 degrees tomorrow! We should have a picnic and play frisbee!" People would walk around in t-shirts and shorts on those days, dancing in the sun. Spring is a time of hope, a season that teaches you to celebrate the small victories and to appreciate all the little joys life provides you, even when things are still far from perfect.

#365daysofbiking Keep trying:
February 24th - And nature, she kept trying thought out the end of my journey.
Outside the place I was supposed to be an hour previously, this single yellow solitary soldier was the first of it’s cohort to wake from spring on the bank opposite the bike shed.
I felt proud and pleased for it, it’s comrades still in bud.
It made me much, much happier. This journal is moving home. Find out more by clicking here
