Oh I thoroughly admit that Dean can be, and regularly has been, a dick as well. I just can’t get over how John treated them . But no, you’re right, and tbh a certain percentage of why everyone loves dean his how hot he is, just gonna say

No I understand why you have a problem with John, I disagree with some things as well. But some people just blindly hate him without really understanding. And yEs that's also very annoying I mean ??? it's just sad everyone (the subjective Dean lovers&John haters) ignores his bad side because of his looks and stuff. But I guess those people will always be here, whatever, as long as people understand the Supernatural story I'm okay with it.

I wouldn’t say I hate John Winchester, and it’s nothing to do with his personality, but all I know is that it is unacceptable to treat your children like John treated Sam and Dean. How they lived in motel rooms alone a lot and had to cook etc

By personality I meant that they're both not the warmest people and that sometimes they need to be called out on their shit, but the problem is that no one ever looks at Dean objectively and it annoys the shit out of me. I understand the abandonment argument, dont get me wrong, and like I said, John wasn't the best dad. But you have to understand; His wife was killed and the killer was still out there. And it wasn't an easy target. I understand he couldn't leave it alone. Even though he left his kids alone too often; he didn't mistreat them or abuse them. He loved his sons to death, he would literally die for them. And I know that doesn't justify all of his actions and he should have been there more often, but we also need to understand John didn't really have a choice at that moment. He also got sucked into the Supernatural world and that's hard too ignore.

But why are we only shitting on John when in fact Dean is the one who has expressed abusive behaviour multiple times towards Sam and Castiel. And I'm talking about emotional/mental abuse, not physical. That actually did happen, and no one's talking about it. Dean has issues that shouldnt be ignored. Yet everyone takes it for granted and shits on Castiel for making a bad decision and whines about Sam 'not forgiving Dean' when Dean is the egocentric one only doing things for his sake. Even Sam acknowledged it. Dean cannot live without Sam and makes his decisions all by himself. Sam would also do a hell of a lot to have Dean by his side again but he knows when he's going too far. But don't get me wrong, I love Dean a lot but I wish more people acknowledged the bad sides of him, because he really does have them and it's so annoying no one talks about it yet everyone treats John like he's the worst person on earth :/
