a top five snack for me. when the first few lidls opened in georgia they carried them, and then they stopped carrying them, and now herrâs doesnât make them anymore.Â
a while after they had stopped being available in georgia, i was keeping company with this girl from philly. she worked in the medical examiners office up there when they moved the city morgue from the old place to a modern new building. she would fly down every couple of weeks and stay with me for four or five days. it was nice, like a vacation for both of us Â
i was meant to go up there sometime. she was going to take me to explore the old morgue. she still had a set of keys. weâd go to the mutter museum and the insectarium and what all, but she still had kids at home. it was complicated for me to stay there
we got to talking about herrâs one day. i think she was a little amused that i was familiar with a regional pennsylvania snack food brand, and a lot amused that i was passionate about my favorite flavor. before her next visit, she had a case of the snack size bags shipped down to me. so good
i never made it up there. i was still dealing with the before times, and that distance made it hard to maintain a connection, but i have good memories
thank you for your service herrâs deep dish pizza flavored cheese curls, i apologize if i took you for granted. you tasted like the crunchy, toasty, tomatoey cheese at the edge of a lasagna pan. you are missed
i'm not very good with new people not at first
Hiii!!! Have you done a cover for Second Spring by beechersnope/vondrostes? I once asked if I could print it and they said yes but never got to do it because I didn't like any covers I made lol can I request a cover for that fic?
Hi there! First of all: thank you for trusting me with this, I feel a bit under pressure to be honest...haha I tried to do something, I don't know if it will be good for you, but feel free to send me another ask if you have some idea you'd like for me to try!
So this is what I came up with for now:
Second Spring by beechersnope ( @vondrostes )
Two years into their relationship, Louis and Harry encounter a new beginning.
Love in Life is never a battle of 'win' or 'loss' but a journey of unconditional acceptance.
Sandhya Jane, Second Spring
Everything is so confused here! This warm weather (aside from a few days last week) has all the plants convinced itâs Spring again. Wildflowers, my roses, the quince - even my Irises out back are full of flowers and buds. Supposed to be near 80 all week.
(Iâm not complaining at all! I love it)
something schmaltzy. â¤ď¸
âHey,â Louis said in a soft tone as he approached the bed. He took a seat next to her and peered over at the journal she had propped up in her lap. âWhatâs that?â
âBucket list,â she replied in a tone that was still a bit more gravelly than her usual pitch.
Louis raised an eyebrow. âWhatâs on it?â he asked, curious.
Harry tilted the journal toward him so he could see an empty page. âI couldnât think of anything,â she admitted sheepishly.
Louis scooted onto the edge of the chair, getting as close to Harry as possible without making any kind of direct contact between them. He wasnât sure yet where and how he was allowed to touch her, so he thought it was better to be safe than sorry. âWhy are you making a bucket list?â he wondered.
Harry shrugged. She put the end of the pen in her mouth, tapping it against her bottom lip in contemplation for a few seconds before removing it again. âIt just feels likeâŚI donât know. I guess I realized I never really planned for the after, you know? Like every part of me was just focused on getting here, and now that itâs over with, I just feel kindaâŚlost, I guess.â She glanced over at Louis with a wry smile. âGod, that made it sound so fucking depressing,â she added with a laugh. âI just want something to look forward to. Preferably something a bit less painful.â
