I sure hope it's still a girl when I'm done with the anatomy scan the 28th
I think I forgot to post this. I did I super quick (literally just the time it took to get this picture) scan at work. Since I can't feel movement really, it's nice to make sure she's well. Also it has been almost 3 weeks since I saw her last 😂 She waved her little hand around. I'm pretty sure the "Spider-Man mask" is the left- and right lateral ventricle. At least I hope it is! If I was looking at an adult brain, that is what I would say it is. The anatomy scan is coming up the 28th, so we'll know if everything really is okay then.

The scan went great!! The 5 dots over her face is her fingertips ❤ They put me two days ahead! So I am now 12+4 with an EDD that says September 14th! That is Renés birthday! It would be crazy to deliver on that day 😍 Everything went great! The heartbeat was 165 BPM and she measured 62 mm. I still don't know if it's a girl, but I keep saying she. It's better than 'it' - and in Danish "them/they" doesn't really work that way.

Just booked a know-the-sex scan! So hopefully we'll know this Thursday. I'll be 16 weeks then. I haven't told René - so it'll be a surprise. I'll buy a piece of very boyish or girlish clothing to tell him. I don't mind paying for a scan, because hopefully they'll confirm the gender at my 20 week scan.

4,5 hours until my 12 week scan.
I am still nervous, even though I’ve seen life plenty of times! I hope I get a good picture, so I’ll be able to do the “skull shape” thing to predict if it’s a boy or a girl. Because that sure must be the best way to do that
Afterwards René and I will be going to the mall. I think we might visit his mother afterwards to tell her. I also cannot wait to show you the flower decoration I am making my grandmother to tell her I’m pregnant! And by “I am making” I mean “I pay a flower lady to make”.
