I blissfully soak in the glistening rays of sunlight and swim in the dreamy lushness of Work Drugs’ Method Acting. The weightlessly twirling delight is the latest song from this ever intoxicating Philadelphia band and a taste from their upcoming record, due out later this summer. Though they tag their music as “sedative pop”, Method Acting is an upbeat shimmering delight, a “get-up-and-dance” slice of misty warm pop. It’s as if Real Estate and Day Wave went dance pop and new wave on us, and it’s hazy swooning and deliriously dazzling. Method Acting can be downloaded straight from Soundcloud.
