This Gluten-Free Honey Apple Charoset is a tasty and sweet dish that is usually served during Passover. It tastes great on any Seder table and is made with fresh apples, chopped walnuts, honey, and fragrant spices.
Ingredients: 4 medium apples, cored and finely diced. 1 cup walnuts, chopped. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
Instructions: Put chopped walnuts and diced apples in a large bowl. Add honey and lemon juice and mix them together. Put cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves that have been ground on top. Toss gently until everything is well mixed and covered all over. Put the dish in the fridge for at least 30 minutes with the lid on to let the flavors mix. Cool it down and serve as a side dish or on top of matzo.
