Let me tell you how much this post and caption blessed my soul. When @maryamhasnaa shared even if my ambitions aren’t fulfilled, I am still fulfilled. Because my sense of self-worth and peace is not based on accomplishments. ❤❤❤ I've spent my entire life trying to prove that I am good enough friend, daughter, partner, and mother. It's time for me to allow others to show that they want to be in my life. #somethingsabouther #meditatewithme #innerchild #seekhealing #yourealreadythere #grandrising #maryamhasnaa __ "((Organic Growth)) The difference between motivation and inspiration is that being inspired to create, grow and expand comes organically. It unfolds from the feeling that where I am is perfect at this moment, being present here now. Not by pushing myself to get somewhere else faster. . Many of us were taught to strive to be liked by accomplishments. If your parents loved you for achievements as a child your subconscious mind creates a program where you need your parent's approval in order to believe you deserve or are worthy of love and abundance. So you are constantly pushing yourself to meet your parent's picture of “good enough”. . There is a part of each self-worth is beyond our successes and our failures. Even if my ambitions aren’t fulfilled, I am still fulfilled. Because my sense of self worth and peace is not based on accomplishments. Not trying to prove anything to anyone with my work or accomplishments. Just trying to create experiences that are honest. . This healing process of recognizing that we still all possess an inner child who is looking for certain needs to be met is deeply transformational work. For myself, as a healer, inner child work has created some of the most profound shifts into wellbeing and wholeness. . Part of the spiritual journey is to cleanse and integrate the parts of you that have been split off, lost, rejected or fragmented due to abuse and trauma from childhood. Rather than allow those unconscious shadow aspects to govern your life any longer. You can’t bypass this part." We are each making our way through this world in a way that is perfectly unique to our experiences and circumstances. Growing is hard work, and connection with others is crucial to forward progress. But comparison is not. Even though there are some words we can use to describe and share our experiences with each other, there is ultimately no one who can understand how your brain works and what you need except you. Just do the work that it takes to #seekhealing and #becomeabetterhuman . They will know everything they need to know about you from watching the way that you shine ✨
#jenthepilgrim
The past three months, our founder @jen.the.human has been on a pilgrimage to find healing practices that actually work. We started the SeekHealing project because we want to actively improve the symptoms of addiction and other modern diseases that are products of the widespread social changes to human lifestyle that have happened over the past century.
Jen’s mission on her pilgrimage is to explore as many of these practices as possible, root out the parts that actually work, identify why and then incorporate them into the core philosophy of SeekHealing. Our plan to build “connection centers” and facilities that help folks find lasting healing from addiction will rely on the integrated incorporation of such fundamentals.
You can use #jenthepilgrim to keep up with the stuff Jen has personally seen on her journey, and track our collective progress towards this mission as an organization.
