So I'm a little late but October 10 is #worldmentalhealthday and you know I'm not gonna let that pass by unnoticed. A little over 18 months ago I got my first tattoo, subjecting myself to the dreaded needles because #projectsemicolon captured my attention and really meant something to me. Last week I got that #semicolontattoo touched up so it could look better. It's, to me, also a reflection of my journey over the last 18 months: I've been through ups and downs but I've come out stronger and more vibrant than ever. Mental health is a journey, and it's one that goes off the rails really easily, but it's an undeniable part of who I am. Inked on my body for all to see: my sentence isn't over. Neither is yours.
