Hoho that’s right, two characters in 1 post! You may notice the matching last names! That would be because we have a case of siblings. These ironically chocolately dogs share an accurately chocolatey last name (basically just playing with the word chocolate/coco) flakes name is a reference to the flaky layers of the croissant which he is. (I KNOW he is closer to a pain de chocolate cause of the chocolate, just let me have this) and sprinkles is more personal and less akin to a brownie. Her name is a reference to this brown dog plush I had as a kid which I named sparkles. (It was not at all sparkly and I was in kindergarten) so I named her sprinkles. Not as brownie I know but I thought it’d be funny. Flake is the younger of the two and a NERD! He’s the smart one of the group which is helpful later in the story. Sprinkles the older of the two is the chill one. She is on the best terms with literally everyone. Zero enemies. The two always have each others backs through thick and thin despite their differences. Long live, except not that long cause you both get infected, the chocokos!
