Some underrated/underappreciated adult cartoon shows. Carol and the end of the world is probably my favorite of the bunch.

Here’s a great reason to watch Blood of Zeus: the creators are Greek!

Charley and Vlas Parlapanides are the writers of Blood of Zeus, two brothers who appear to run the twitter page for the show as well.

It really changes my perception of one of their earlier works, which, depending on who you are, will make you love the show more.

The other great reason is because it’s the blood (pun intended) sweat and tears of Powerhouse Animation, the studio that brought us Castlevania, Masters of the Universe, and Seis Manos.

Support small studios like Powerhouse, to give them the resources they need for their independent projects like Seis Manos, a martial arts story following three orphaned siblings from Mexico who practise different Chinese fighting styles.

Powerhouse is also known for its gorgeous character designs of global majority peoples.

If you want to see the creative teams do more of the story, support the show by pushing Netflix for more content so that the showrunners and animators can have the space to explore more aspects that you want to see.

Great Adult Animated Series

That don’t have to SOLELY rely on violence, sex, and/or forced humor to be great. And a few of them were stupidly canceled/shortened by dumbass executives who clearly suck at their job.
