Hello, it's me, the one who makes sure people practice proper self care.
Lately, I've been seeing people not practicing proper self care (or just not taking care of themselves at all) so I'm just making sure that you are taking care of yourself. At the bare minimum, at least make sure your body is sustained properly (proper eating, drinking, and sleeping).
No, coffee/energy drinks do not replace sleep. The average human needs 7-8 hours a day.
No, sunlight does not count as proper food. We are not plants, we do not use photosynthesis. (I can't believe I have to say this, what is wrong with people? Though you need sunlight and vitamin d, this is not a food source. Stop trying to use it as a food source.)
No, that apple you had this morning on the way to wherever you were going does not count. It is recommended you eat 2,000-2,500 calories a day (and no, this does not mean eat a box or 2 of donuts from your local Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme or other donut shop. Try to eat healthy, but honestly at this point as long as you are actually eating.)
No, that 1 cup of water that you had this morning does not count as proper hydration. It is recommended you have 6-8 cups of water a day.
Also, make sure you have breaks in your day and don't stress too much. Relax for a bit, it's good for your health.
Final note: I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life, I'm just concerned with everyone's well-being lately because, again, people aren't taking care of themselves.
Not got much to add to this but ^^ thank you this is a good reminder
