The thing about imposter syndrome and being rejection sensitive….

Is that, every time I do fail, or I actually am rejected by someone, it just proves to that little voice in my head that I am really incompetent, or worthless, or being rejected…

That voice says, “I was right all along, you are a fake, you can’t do it, and people don’t care about you.”

And that voice, gets bigger

And bigger

And bigger…

And that other voice that tells that one,

“you’re wrong, I am smart, and capable and worthy!” Gets smaller

And smaller

And smaller…

I remembered to get up and eat breakfast so I can take my meds!

Been struggling with mental health for a little while now. After countless melt downs, a few therapy sessions and a few of my own little exposure therapies I'm starting to feel a little more human! So for the people who are struggling with their own mind, it might be hard to get out of your own head sometimes but make sure to take some time for you! Go for a walk, eat as much cake as you want, binge watch show after show (but do try to get some sunlight!) just know that it might seem hard, but with some good support and the want and need to get better, it does. It really does get better ❤️
