Why Do We Care So Much About What Others Think?
As humans we are constantly thinking what others may say about us whether trying to make a particular decision or voice an opinion. We are constantly caught between “Should I do this?” or “Should I say this?”
It seems almost natural to have these instincts of self-doubt and re-evaluation before we open our mouth to say something or do something. But have we wondered how much of thinking in this…

Scars.
Physical injury is indeed painful if uncured and mistreated that can lead to a remarkable scar. But lucky are those who've only incurred physical injury, because these wounds are visible to the naked eye and one can determine where the pain is coming from, thus making it easy to heal if treated well. Have you ever thought of people with emotional pain? How would they be able to heal that wound and how long must they bear that pain? 'Cause all one can do with emotional injury is to wait for time to heal it and cope-up with their present life. Sometimes, these pain are untraceable, not being aware of what or whom caused such depression and misery to a certain person's life. The main point is, emotional pain comes from not when no one understands you, but more of when you no longer understand yourself. The fact that one doesn't know what to do to ease the pain and not knowing where it came from is a sign that a person is undergoing depression. But in the end, you have to live for yourself, avoiding interaction with others just because you want to prove yourself that you're not weak. But how long can you withstand that pain?
But why do people insist on asking you things that you've already forgotten? Things that you've put behind in the past. Things that had given you great pain and misery. As a fragile individual, will you let anyone harm you? The mere fact that you knew you had an injury, will you let anyone mistreat that wound of yours? Physical or emotional, the impact is just the same. You will never let anyone open again an injury that's close to healing. Because if you do, it will definitely leave a scar. A scar that couldn't be hidden from your body, or rather from your heart. Move on.
Lalalala. I've watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith a while ago when I rode a bus on my way home. Ohh how wonderful it is to have a lovelife whom you can have sweet and adventurous moments with. But I love my life, where I own my time and my every decisions. And I'm never gonna give up that freedom. :)
