So it turns out monarchies aren't really her thing but besting my ass in chess and stage combat sure is! The crown is yours for the taking if you want it, babes! 👑💗

And if anyone strong of will and pure of heart would like to take up the cause of basegame converting the armored dress for her special day... well, that would be a noble quest, indeed.

A February birthday inevitably means sweets overload — and now I'm a part of the problem! 🥲 I set out to create a nostalgia-rific birthday celebration for you, @biffybobs (but like, in the Sims 4... because Mac...) and naturally realized I should include the Surprise Birthday Cake.

What I didn't realize (or just plain forgot from way back in the '00s!) is that the Surprise Birthday Cake is, in fact, cake — and not just a deco prop for a super fun surprise dance routine that I should only play on the computer when parents aren't in the room. 🫣

But, don't fret — I got us into this mess and now I'll get us back out! 😤 I will pack up a slice or two in brown paper leftover bags and leave them to spoil, forgotten in the void of my inventory. Boom! So helpful.

A day after meeting the Gomes family they invited themselves over as houseguests — and in what is technically a 3-bedroom starter, how could I say no? If I had known they meant to stay for almost an entire week perhaps I would have thought better of it...

There was also an infant called Bill who would have been a stay over guest as well if not for still being a newborn object baby.

What's worse is that Radwan and Tziporah decided to get into a physical altercation while guests in my home.

Zelmira did not seem particularly troubled by this but I was deeply concerned.

No it was not Neighborhood Brawl day!

I asked them to move in permanently as a roommate (thinking, let me help this teen escape what is clearly a bad situation) but they declined, stating they already had a home. Well, what kind of home can it be, Zelmira, when your father has no issue beating your mother in front of his own child? (Not even to mention his host / neighbor!)

So I had to do the next best thing and:

immediately write Zelmira into my will

temporarily become a ghost and use my ghostly powers to rid them of their negative emotions via the cutest hug ever 🥹

regularly drop in on their home to keep a close eye on Radwan 👀 (and also check in on Bill!!!)

betrayed by the one cat I can rely on to not jump on the counter in real life — but delighted that cats actually react to the new mixer

we came, we saw, we... used a stand mixer to process faux meat and vegetables? 🤷🏼‍♀️

overall I'm quite pleased with this, but to me it kinda seems like a food processor was in development for this pack as well, but then to cut corners they decided to shove it all into the stand mixer.

my kingdom for a food processor! and while we're at it, a trash compactor!
