Dreamt I found a book of polymorphic spells, and one that allows you to shapeshift into your favourite animal. I did it, and I turned into a normal mouse, not anthro, except I could still talk and stuff. I had so much fun running around the house, and I even explored outside a bit. In the dream I had a girlfriend and she carried me around on her shoulder when we went shopping. Eventually I kinda needed to be human sized for a bit to handle some things, so I looked for the counter spells and performed it, but it turns out it relies entirely on self image to revert to your "true self", but since I enjoyed my mouse body waaay more than I ever did my human body, It didn't work and I was just a mouse now. I managed to find another spell that would temporarily turn into a human-sized mouse for about 30-60 minutes depending on how hard I concentrated, and I would try and walk on my hind legs. So I'd just be this human sized mouse, on two legs, wearing a dress in the grocery store. After I exhausted the growth spell, I realized I needed to return a ton of library books, so my gf took me and the books since I definitely couldn't carry them. The librarian got a bit upset about someone bringing a mouse into the library, but calmed down when she found out I could talk and was just polymorphed. We got chatting about the experience so my gf wandered off since she knew it would take forever for us to be done. At the end of the dream I was curled up in the world's biggest softest pillow and she was stroking my fur from head to tail. Literally the nicest dream I've ever had and I wanna go live in that reality. It was just serene.
