New terms

syzer/syszer (zerosys or zerogenic, from syszero/syzero): a system or singlet origin tied to the zerogender experience or a gender, like systemfluid or queerplex, that changes depending on who’s fronting or coping in a system or plurality, or otherwise facing psychically in a median system or sengloste.

explanation: within the sengloste perspective, the self would feel buried inside a parallel dimension, like an alter ego that makes you uncomfortable when thinking about it. the eugender personhood fronting or facing (headmate or facet) wouldn't necessarily feel complete (ie. empty systems or polyfragmented subsystems).

for median systems or within IFS model, we can think of demigenders and their blurry counterpart. for example, what's the counterpart of my demiagender? I feel like the other side could be either supranull or transfinitive. supranull could omnivalent or not.

while for singlets, it's simply a descriptor of having something like an antigender alter persona/ego (e.g. lady gaga versus jo calderone). but not everyone has one (just as achiralgender), especially within artistic context, they function as a shadow mirrored character or inverted mimetism/mimicking of the other opposite side

and I'm thinking in coining karmagenic or karmasys based on karmagender btw.

i wanted to chat about an experience i believe most dissociative folk will understand but can also be pretty broad, and spiritual beings may also relate to.

so, putting it in simple terms, i am me, i inhabit and "pilot" my body, and my brain - both the literal organ and the unconscious side of it - is my co-pilot.

i'm not my brain, though it is a part of me. i know / believe this because of anxiety, impulsive and intrusive thoughts, all that jazz. those are not me; those are all aspect of my psyche i don't control nor actively, voluntarily have an input on. i often try to do the opposite, and find myself thinking about a certain thing while the rest of my brain is forcefully thinking about the contrary or similar. this might be a way of "humanizing" these psychological processes, but it makes it way easier to explain to others and i've got too used to it to the point i simply can't see it in any other way.

my brain is like, my coworker inside The brain, if that makes sense.... it, well, controls the body as well. it just so happens that sometimes we disagree, or it tries to harm me, or us, or the meatsuit we're in. it's antagonistic at times, and i know it's involuntary, but when times get tough i've found myself sitting in silence while in my head we're metaphorically fist-fighting for control or for who's thoughts "win". my volatile, ADHD-adjacent symptoms also make it so that i'm always thinking about 3-5 things at the same time; there's always some kind of noise up there, even if in the background.

once again, this may just be conceptualizing processes that a bunch of neurons just Do on their own, but i am well aware i'm me, the soul and self inside this "system" called A Human Body and Human Being. it just so happens that, in my case, there are parts of my thinking that i have no control over.

for anon! the outer stripes represent the body and the inner stripes are taken from this dissociative disorder flag. the term is 'sengl' from old french 'sengle', meaning 'single', + 'oste', old french for 'host'!

anon has dpdr and cited this as the specific reason for their sengloste experience, but noted that anyone with similar dissociative disorders who are not plural can identify as this term. anon also acknowledged that some plural folks, such as median systems and those with p-did, may relate to this term, but it is solely intended for singlets/non-plurals!
