Today I did the most impulsive thing regarding this fandom I have ever done.
I got a mask of anubis tattoo (whilst in london as im on vacation here — with my best friend i met in the fandom 9 years ago).
It’s my fourth tattoo and I love it so much and so i thought you would appreciate it too.
it’s on my inner wrist and it’s still sore but i needed to share as this has been such a big part of my life and i just love it so much.
Reached the point in my s2 rewatch where Senkhara punishes Nina by making her hex her friends and that scene at the end of that episode... Holy shit, that scene where Senkhara gives Nina the nightmare of all her friends, and Victor, running away form her in terror. Of being the monster, but not knowing it, but not understanding why everyone is running, why everyone one is scared.
Goddamn.
And then her being Senkhara in the mirror, and Senkhara repeating that they will all suffer.
And happens just after Senkhara reminds her that her punishment will be to punish, and no fucking wonder Nina thinks she's a curse, and ends up thinking her friends are better off/safer without her
But also this scene, even in isolation, devoid of any other context, holy shit
A horror story, from the point of view of the monster, who doesn't know they're a monster. All they know/Nina knows is that their loved ones, and enemy(ies) run away from them in in terror and when they/she tries to reach out and ask what's happening, they make no indication that they can even hear her.
Like holy shit, that's so good and heartbreaking
