I just finished watching Elemental on Disney+ and it was so insanely adorable!

I loved the story, the characters, the animation and themes. Wade was my favourite. We need more sensitive male characters like him.

Also, Ember and Wade are, of course, the best part.

Sometimes I wonder about Jon Frakes bc there’s moments when he does Riker having a PTSD flashback like a little too well? I know he’s an actor but like damn. He’s clearly pulling from personal experience. And he’s from Pennsyltuckey-adjacent - Belthlehem PA is the kind of town that wouldn’t give a pregnant teenager a loft in the barn

I just want to apologize for my past self who really hated straight guys and let you all know that you’re still important and you have struggles that others don’t listen to. I relate to straight guys more than I thought. There’s nothing wrong with being straight or a man. Special thank you to men who are curious about the lgbt or the problems minorities have. Even though most of the time your attention is shrugged off, I want you to know that I do notice and I do care.

Moyuru Koda deserves attention

Like I can't stop watching EP 6, like forget (unreal turnheel) Ryo. This is a gay character, a totally not stereotyped gay male character who is crying, sad, expressing his loss of his boyfriend. Like that spoke to me on a spiritual level. Like I know that feel of having to cry in secret simply because males aren't allowed to cry. And when I did I got bullied hard for it.

That was terrible writing playing him down like some survivalist, and it was really where things turned crap. But seriously, he needs more love, granted he's not in the original devilman, but seeing someone that emotional that is not a stereotypical male anime character really made me feel.
