Min Yoongi is the starplayer of his high school's basketball team, but nobody really knows who Park Jimin is. The lonely boy spends his afternoons working at a café called Elisabeth's and one day the infamous shooting guard shows up there and asks Jimin to tutor him. Somehow, over the course of the summer of 1996, the two boys become best friends.

Each month of the year tells a story about the pairs' adventures: a fun Halloween party with them dressed up as zombies, an unexpected New Year's Eve spent watching Home Alone 2, a horrible Valentine's day or them sneaking out to an underground bar in the middle of the night - just to list a few. But there's a place they always come back to.

And that place is Elisabeth's where everything started.
