has anyone been prescribed zoloft/setraline, please let me know your experiences
setraline is fun because you'll become the Husk for 22 hours a day and then from exactly 1-3 pm your heart will be struck by the force of a thousand vibrating suns
Ngl I giggled from doing this ig it’s effective for mental health. Plus made me remember to take me setraline. Wellbutrin on the other hand…it depends when I eat, that shit has been beating my ass in terms of weight loss and nausea. Thankfully I have my weighted blanket by my side for it all.
my lowered meds (sertraline) has allowed me to have feelings (hyperfixations) about media again and the first piece of media i watched was the Dog Man movie.
this is like when cupid shoots an arrow at someone and they fall in love with whoever they see first. kind of
what i'm saying is my life and emotions may begin to revolve around this piece of media . so good news for anyone who is wanting me to create content and bad news to anyone who knows me irl <3
interact if ur also 17 y/o with a strange in depth obsession with dog man i need people who understand me
I've been sick so I didn't wanna take my meds just to have them immediately come back up. I ended up feeling much better by the end of the day and made sure to get my dose in.
I've been taking this medicine close to a year now and I'm just going to say my life has improved dramatically. It's one of those medicines where you can't really tell that it's working until you stop taking it. The results are so gradual and so subtle that it really sneaks up on you.
I have almost no side effects besides the occasional vivid dream. The rest of the side effects stopped after the first month.
Do I still get sad, yes. Do I still get anxious, yes.
But I can handle being sad without spiraling into a guilt filled depression. I can get anxious and recover pretty quickly.
I'm not living in a fog, or like a zombie. I'm me without all the noise in the back of my head.
can anyone taking antidepressants tell me how long it took them for it to kick in for depression / mood because my anxiety has been better but i still feel so low, exhausted and unhappy pretty much all the time
if you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably been thinking “damn this girl is depressed. why hasn’t she gotten professional help? shes wanted to off herself for like the last 15 years... is she well?”
i’m posting this to announce that...no, i’m not well;however, i have decided to get help and i started antidepressants 3 weeks ago. also, i haven’t wanted to end it all in like 2 weeks which is a HUGE win and i actually feel quite enthusiastic about life! i finally have the energy to do the things that i’ve been wanting to do for years. i made a youtube video about it so give it a little watch if you’d like to find out what it’s been like. i have started making videos because i liked doing it as a child so just the fact that i finished this with my adhd brain is also huge!
