Sevika sees the way her palm flattens. She swings her head backwards, so all she can see is the glass roof above them. She only met Ambessa's eyes for a second, but the pure triumph there was hotly foreboding. So is the hand pressing down on her pelvic mound, feeling like ownership. The worst thing about Ambessa is that if they met at a pub somewhere, she'd be Sevika's type.
