if "seven" by taylor swift isn't a byler song i don't know what is
"and we can be pirates / then you won't have to cry / or hide in the closet.." ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME I AM GOING TO START VOMITING AND SCREAMING AND SOBBING THIS MAKES ME SO EMOTIONAL
Okay, everyone talks about “Summer Child” and “Matilda” being similar, but consider the similarities between “Summer Child” and “seven.” Consider how “seven” has a permanent tonal shift, however subtle, after the second verse and second chorus. How the subject is trying to escape the pain by trying to prolong innocence even after that’s been prematurely taken away. Consider that the subject of “Summer Child” is doing the exact same thing.
(...can you tell that I did indeed do an animatic idea for “seven” and Have Thoughts? Perhaps I should post it...)
"And I've been meaning to tell you, I think your house is haunted. Your dad is always mad and that must be why. I think you should come live with me and we can be PIRATES then you won't have to cry. Or hide in a closet and just like a folk song, our love would be passed on..."
On one of these dates she's gonna sing seven as a date exclusive and then what
"I still got love for you"
