At our first place, we wanted a garden and the owners were nice enough to allow us to use this small space. We looked at it, it was empty and run down but we made it what we wanted it to be. We wanted a table, we made it. We wanted all sorts of herbs to cook with so we grew them. We knew it would be temporary so we made planters out of wooden palettes and hung them. We wanted a bit of shade, so we made a light cover. We wanted a pathway so we made a pathway. And finally we found different ways to light it (candles-string lights and all those bottles are home-made citronella torches, keeping mosquitoes away🌿) we made it bright but only with just enough light for dinners under the moon. We wanted a space ignited by love, happiness and laughter to share with our friends...my best friend and her husband once told us they felt like they were in another country, they felt peace 🌖✨ That comment was special because we simply created something from our hearts and it far exceeded the reaction we expected to get from the people we love the most. If you want something in life, you have to make your own path. We live in a time where it is too easy to find the easier way, a paved way and prepared way. But we have the mind of innovators, designers and builders. We have the minds of creators....we decided to envision what we wanted in order to create it from scratch. The magic starts in the INITIATIVE and ACTUALLY FINISHING. Making your own steps and COMPLETING THEM. That's what makes it even more special, the connection between you and YOUR VISION/YOUR DREAM!
