Teal'c motivated his entire species of oppressed warrior-slaves to rebel against the false gods. He went from the First Prime of his god, commanding troops and demanding sacrifice of peasants, to a rebel icon known throughout the galaxy. He then went on to stand in government office, and a lot of that is due to his impressive voice and direct way of speaking.
