Photo by @amivitale. The baby elephants of Reteti Elephant Sanctuary (@r.e.s.c.u.e) frolic in their mud bath. Currently, @r.e.s.c.u.e has 25 orphans in their care. Elephants are orphaned for a variety of reasons including poaching, human-wildlife conflict and drought related causes. The goal of @r.e.s.c.u.e is to nurse them back to health, and when they are ready, return them to the wild. It is a delight to share my new film "Shaba" which tells the extraordinary story of Reteti's first matriarch.
