What other characters come to the Myotis' table to feast in the aftermath of his fall?
So this is where things begin to get a little interesting because there are those that know exactly what happened in the Prelude storyline. There’s a few people that come directly to mind that aren’t written by me. A few of Dura’s notable that are bound to him by contracts will feel his presence shift and change from this plane of existence such as @sanguinesorceress or those who were willing to serve him in some manner such as @the-bloodborne-tempest or @hollow-shadow-puppet that will magically feel it.
Those that are less chained to him but provided assistance with the Myotis affairs and before will eventually learn first hand. @igniting-the-dawn @gravekeeper-anna @miah-ambershade and maybe even a few wayward souls such as @theron-darksunder or @theblackmourninquire. But given the trajectory of the current timeframe and how things are said to flow, the outer rings of those that aren’t at the table will eventually learn it, or maybe not? There are a few I look forward to finding out about the Lord’s whereabouts later down the road. But, I can tell you this much... it won’t be what you expect to find.
Now, how will some who are not so personally tied figure out the events that took place, well, that is what one of my backbone characters is for. In case you are not familiar with him, I would like to take the time to introduce to you Benjamin Lewinters.
Benjamin is a forsaken magi that I have had in the works ever since Mists of Pandaria. He was an old, human acquaintance that Duraxxor met in his travels long before undeath. However, his presence was not as strongly noted up until The Battle of Undercity when he was amongst the forsaken that Dura himself helped rescue at the beginning of Battle for Azeroth. For awhile, he was operating as a power of attorney to the Daevara family. However, when Benjamin learned of the Thrice-Damned’s resurfacing, he chose to assist him any way possible, bound by a promise to help with his flesh rot sickness. Ever since, he has operated as a transportation via portal and other teleportation magic while maintained the undead backbone of Myotis as an organization while continuing to work as a spy, watching Duraxxor’s living relatives and friends as one of his most trusted eyes and voices.
