Shadow people crave warmth (as they are the absence of light) and will snuggle into sleeping people’s beds.
Some of them might even take a chance and snuggle in closer. Become close enough to one, and you may soon discover that it loves to cuddle.
This is going to sound really weird but has anyone ever seen a "shadow person" (like the form of a tall man made out of darkness walking or just standing still)? If you think I'm crazy that's fine idc.
