Making sheet hard, brain hurt. So I opted to at least make up a character design to motivate myself to make a sheet happen.
Um, hi. So this is my first ever Shadowrun character? I wanted to make one, 'cause the world is kinda on my brain. Or has been for a few years. In any case, this is "Fuse". He is an Elf Adept. Night One/Nocturna Meta-Variant.
Very inspired by Gambit from the X-Men!
In the upcoming chapter Samuel uses one of his Adept powers, "ki-powers" to disguise himself. A visual example of how the Adept Power "Melanin Control" works. "This power allows the adept to change the color of his skin and/or hair to that of another ethnicity/metatype, limited to the colors normally found in metahuman genetic expressions."
Lilly Verben [OC] fast sketch of my OC in Shadowrun games - tabletop RPG [cyberpunk mood today]
I am somehow very fascinated by that scene. Her fast movements and that massive kick are good examples for the Shadowrun Adept’s Powers:
Combat Sense Combat Sense provides an instinctive sense of any potential threats nearby.
Counterstrike Counterstrike is an extremely potent ability that allows an adept in unarmed combat to redirect an attacker’s energy through a combination of skill, intuition, and magical ability.
Improved Reflexes This power increases the speed at which you react, just like wired reflexes. Missile Parry (Enhanced version) You can catch slow-moving projectiles such as arrows, thrown knives, grenades, or shuriken out of the air.
Transmit Damage This power allows an adept with Killing Hands to channel any physical damage he has taken into an unarmed attack and transmit it into his target.
Sword skills.
Very cool examples of how Samuel fights with his asari twin blades.
Who needs guns when you are lightning fast and have two deadly swords?
Oh dear, this is completely exaggerated! ....
Such muscles aren’t real.
Jokes aside these are very good examples for the Shadowrun Adept’s powers. like becoming lightning fast, striking a massive blow, running at the wall, even catching a missle ... and much more.
Physical Adepts (often shortened to just Adepts) are magically-active characters who focus their magic internally to develop to their utmost potential; physically, mentally, and spiritually. As Adepts unlock new abilities, they become honed physical machines, using their magic to enhance their close combat abilities.
They don’t need biotics, actually, they do not even need much armament: the most deadly weapon the adept always has with him as long as he is alive: his own body.
The Last You See...
Elven ki-adept, shadowrunner and assassin, once known as "Sekhmet" in the streets of Seattle. "...for I brought death and dread, lightning fast and silent like mist. If the victim saw me it was because I wanted it to see me. And then it was too late. I never want to return."
