Poor Batman, but was a Good Prank by Danny.

In Gotham, the city was greeted by the sight of Brucie Wayne chasing a tiny cat boy through the city. Wait! They did take one more look... and saw they didn't see wrong. Yeah, Bruce Wayne was running after a young meta child with cat ears and a tail.

Bruce. "And this is why I should adopt you." Boy:" No Way! There is an old cat lady here!" Bruce:" Yeah, there is; just ask. Does Catwoman not live here?" He asked the passersby. 

They just nodded their heads. Yes, Catwoman lives here in Gotham. Bruce:" See, I have all you need, and if you are alone, the old creepy cat lady will steal you."

The catboy looked with mistrust and took his hand. To follow him. And they were gone after a while.

Later at a Motel Danny returned to his 14-year-old look and turned to Tucker:" Give me the money. I wasn't caught." Tucker handed over $100. " Damn! But look at this video! It's damn comedy." Danny:" Thanks! You too Amorpho!" Amorpho: "I'm always happy to help you prank people, young Phantom. Now, if you excuse me, I want to prank a few others."

Danny:" I love this new Power and i even have a teacher for it! Tucker:" And i get comedy by the Pranks you 2 do. "

So I've seen a bunch of posts on 'What if Danny shapeshifted into a cat and got lost in Gotham', and I raise you 'Danny shapeshifts into a dog and gets mistaken for Krypto'. Think about it! He would have snow white fur, superpowers, and be able to understand humans because, well, he's a human. He's just stuck as a dog at the moment. The only difference from him and Krypto would be his eyes. Krypto has blue eyes, and Dog!Danny has green.

You cannot tell me that Damian would see what looks like a homeless Kryptonian dog running around Gotham and ignore it. He would lure Danny home with treats he gets from Jon, and probably already has a spot for him in the manor.

okay so your typical dp x dc crossover au except instead of doing adopted by Bruce, Danny gets adopted by Damian on accident.

basically, Danny ends up in gothem and, trying not to draw attention to himself, shape-shifts into a cat. This works well for the most part bec there are a dozen ally cats in gothem and nobody looks at them twice EXCEPT this kid who keeps coming to leave food and catch some of the sicker looking cats to take to the vet. Obviously Danny is a fully aware human, actually, and doesn't like cat food so as much as he thinks its sweet this 12 year old is takeing care of the strays, danny dosnt get close.

Damian only gets glimpses of this black tuxedo cat with the greenest eyes hes ever seen. He assumes that cat is just particularly ferral and just stops in his tracks every so often if he spots him. when people ask, he says that cat is quite rare to see and he thinks it must be lucky. thats that until damian doesn't see the mysterious stay for two solid weeks and then one day finds it curled up behind a dumpster, bleeding and looking worse for ware so obviously he scoops it up and takes it home.

Danny is to tired and to hurt to stop him at the time but only actually needs two days or so to heal. damian nurses him, with a little scolding from Bruce for bringing back ANOTHER stray, and danny kinda becomes fond of the kid. still, he wasn't a cat and needed to get out of there.

queue dannys grate escape. he so very nearly got to the door when Jason walked in and wtf in that??? and what is it doing here???? danny is stopped in his tracks long enough for damian to catch him and jason is left a little freaked out having been looked through by a cat.

now danny is compelled to stick around bec hes in to deep now and also wtf is going on with the dude dripping with dark magic and corrupted ectoplasm.

hyjinx ensue with Danny not wanting to let on that hes not actually a cat bec at this point it would be weird and the batfam continually confused by this weird cat that damian bought home
