Star Wars Outlander (1-6)
If it's alright, I am really interested in those Screenshots! (Referrering to the Tusken-Jedi post). Thank you for the explanation and the context! Just hearing how A'Sharad has been handled makes me sad. And it's even more bitter once one thinks about how other jedi are allowed to keep their culture and don't have to decide. Also really, how has Dark Woman made it so far. How.
(For context, this is their first meeting right after Ki-Adi-Mundi gets attacked by a krayt dragon and Sharad's band of Tuskens kills it - specifically A'Sharad does, as a rite of passage.)
(Ki-Adi-Mundi gets asked a lot to put his filter mask back on so the Tuskens will be more comfortable around him.)
(This is. after Ki-Adi-Mundi knows that Sharad Hett has been training his son among the Tuskens for at least a decade?? Idk what the line of reasoning was here.)
And then immediately after A'Sharad steps into this fight and stops it by throwing people away with the Force:
And then as a bonus, the Dark Woman training A'Sharad after Sharad's death. The first one is during the spar, after he's landed a hit on her. The second and third are several minutes after, when A'Sharad makes a comment about how he was holding back because she wasn't his enemy. Also, immediately after her sucker-punching his padawan, Ki-Adi-Mundi jumps in with "yeah she has a point", which. uh, yikes:
If you have any more specific panels you want to see, let me know! My Marvel subscription needs to be good for something, ha.
Sharad Hett was a human and former Jedi Knight. Hett left the Order as he became disillusioned with the Jedi’s lack of humility. After a tragedy prevented him from reconnecting with his family, Hett exiled himself to Tatooine. He became involved with the local Tuskens, eventually becoming accepted into their culture, leading them in battle against the Hutts. Hett was trained by Eeth Koth, and wielded a crimson blade.

AU where, shortly pre-canon, Sharad Hett takes A'Sharad into Mos Espa for some supplies (because merchants tend to react better to him than to native Tuskens), and catches the edges of 7yo Anakin's power and just goes "Oh. Oh Shit."
At this point I’m willing to accept anything if it means A’Sharad back in canon 😆. I kind of liked Darth Krayt tho, he was an interesting sith
had a really weird thought re: tusken jedi, but a cool one.
tuskens use slugthrowers, right? infamously unblockable by lightsaber
say a’sharad hett (for example) wanted something really dead. and a massive glob of fast-moving molten metal would do it. I think you already see where I’m going with this.
yes, I’m suggesting “get all your buddies to aim at your lightsaber at the same time and really ruin the day of whoever’s on the other side of that thick metal armor” is something in his playbook.
boom.
