#declaringgodslove - Not all addiction is bad for you. Some are good. Take God's love for example, it's a good addiction. If you can get rooted and grounded in it then you won't suffer with insecurities. Then you won't have to be defensive in any situation. I heard of a gentleman who married his wife. Both from different backgrounds. The man a bit more steady and committed to loving his new bride. The woman a bit insecure having watched her mother suffer in the hands of her father. This affected her and somehow stored away i her mind. She had decided that she was not going to allow any man take advantage of her. . . So when she first got married, she had rules: her husbend cannot open her letters because they're private to her and shes a private person. Opening her letters is too intrusive for her. Her husband trying so hard to be understanding told her she was allowed to open his letter and initially she didn't understand him but as time went by, she slowly adjusted dnd embraced her husband's love. On one of their reminiscent days, her husband confessed that he used to just pray and pray to God about his wife. He wanted a united and loving family. He told her if he was not secured in who he is in Christ, He would have walked out on her. Oh there is something about addiction to God's love. It makes you feel good too. So in trying to embrace God's love for you, why not try and get hooked, addicted to His love because in it you can find security for now and for the future. Let's make this declarations of faith together.
