Sun-Drenched Shimmer
Summer on Krk Island is in full swing, and while most of us are searching for any kind of shade or cooling off in the sea, some locals prefer the heat. This little green lizard was the only cooperative subject today, sunbathing on a stone wall and enjoying the scorching sun.
It turned out to be a fantastic opportunity to test my new manual vintage samurai—the legendary SMC Takumar 85mm f/1.8 paired with the Canon R7. I am slowly getting a proper feel for its focus ring and learning exactly where it bites. The way this classic Japanese glass isolates the subject, leaving the foreground and background in a creamy, organic green blur while keeping the lizard's textured skin razor-sharp, is absolutely brilliant.
@sharp-shot asked: “is that as much of an answer as you’re gonna give me?”
“Do you think I should make it more sugar coated for you? No, I’m going to be blunt and to the point. I killed them because they came after me with intent to kill. Simple as that, cowboy.”

" Now now, whatever will you do tomorrow? "
Ignis let himself be kissed softly, enjoying the weight of Prompto's arms around him. He can smell the hint of the coffee they shared earlier still clinging to Prompto: masked slightly only by whatever cheap cologne he used. It’s something Ignis had grown more than accustomed to. In fact he sought it out with the craving for comfort. He’d even scandalously tainted his own take away coffees with hazelnut syrup just to remind himself of Prompto’s lips.
However. They were in a public space. Full of equally caffeinated and sleep deprived individuals who were failing to study. Ignis wouldn't be the one to distract them. As much as he enjoyed the soft slide of Prompto's lips against his own, Ignis parted them with a hand against that freckled cheek. Maybe it lingered there for a second too long. Neither of them would mention it if it did.
And then suddenly, there was an answer card between them, both physically and metaphorically blocking them from each other. The messy ramblings were the perfect excuse to shift Ignis' attention away from those puppy eyes that did such horrible things to him; like making his stomach do those little flutters.
" Ace this, and I'll reward you later: however you’d like. That should be a decent incentive for you? “
@sharp-shot [From here, because ideas.]
Nothing in Noctis' expression changes. He looks a little sleepy, maybe slightly bored; but is eyes are too focused, watching Prompto too closely.
Still, he appears casual enough, stretching his arms over his head and letting them fall. "Then I'll believe in you enough for both of us until you realize you're wrong." To him, it really is just that simple.

Hoping that Prompto would get her message,Cindy was surprised that her ball of sunshine called so quickly. Not that she was complaining. Hearing his voice, she smiled a little and held the phone close to her ear.
“Howdy hon. Everything okay?” She asked with genuine concern.
do you like pizza? 'cause i would like a pizza that ass ... ( i am so sorry. i saw this line on a cookie and here we are )
"Yeah, who doesn't?" Cloud blinked and tilted his head to the side. "Wait, pizza that what? I don't know what kind that is."

Based on how flustered the guy had seemed when talking to his sister, Cloud hadn't really expected him to respond, much less argue. So he got one point for having a spine, at least. But that didn't mean Cloud was going to completely buy his story.
"So getting this gun has nothin' to do with being part of the royal entourage? Hm." It was a damn nice pistol, too. Far better than the ones Cloud was used to working on from his usuals, but also better than he saw from most travelers. "So, not a gift from your Prince. Then how'd you get it?" It was hard to believe, that was for sure. But the guy - Prompto? - his voice held conviction. Enough that Cloud thought maybe the pride it held was deserved.
If so, Cid was gonna yell at him for being an unnecessary ass again. Dammit.
