Imagine an au where anyone who has sharp teeth is considered evil and if often chased off, or, if caught, executed. Imagine Kaz wearing a face mask, desperately trying to survive without being found out. One day, he finds a cat in the woods nearby, and upon realizing the cat has a collar, brings it to the listed owner, Gundham, who, being very grateful, offers Kaz stay the night, since he lives in the middle of nowhere. Kaz hesitant agrees, as he hasnt eaten in a few days. (Part 1)

I do wonder why they are considered evilIt could be a fantasy AU where people who have this trait aren’t fully human or it’s just a believe that people falsely have due to superstition

He would, as you said, hide his face as much as he can without trying to look too obvious about it, since he is scared for his life. He isn’t a bad person at all, however it’s a bit hard to make other people realise it as well if they try to instantly end him or just run away in fear when they see his teeth by accident

When he then one days happens to stumble into a cat, maybe while walking around to find something to eat, he sees the collar of it and decides to bring it home to its owner

When he finally finds the house that it more or less in the middle of nowhere, after it was starting to turn dark, he makes sure that his mouth is hidden before ringing the bell. When Gundham, who was probably already exhausted from the stress that one of his pets was missing, would be relieved to no end when he sees that Kaz has found the cat and actually bring it to him

Since it is late, Gundham offers him that he could stay for the night and could also join him for dinner. While Kaz would be reluctant, the promise of food is too tempting to refuse and so he agrees. However due to his hunger he doesn’t watch his movements and just digs in after being half starved

This however leads to Gundham seeing the animal like teeth of the other and he would instantly think that Kazuichi was trying to trick him and so he would instantly grab a knife. Only for Kaz to also realise it and grow pale at seeing the knife in the other’s hand who is staring at him with wide eyes. Kazuichi would quickly move away, almost falling over his chair and beg to be not killed and that he will leave

Gundham would probably see the genuine fear in the other’s eyes and realise that he is currently in the wrong with threatening him for something as simple as a birth trait, so he slowly puts the knife back, while keeping his eyes on Kazuichi just to make sure
