The Demon woke up, wrapping himself around her pale little body, reveling in the contrast between the softness of her skin and petite curves and his hard lines. Pressing himself against her back with a groan before rolling her over until she was facing him. Brushing back her sleep tangled locks as he propped himself up on one arm to stare down at her, illuminated in the afternoon light streaming in from the window.
He had longed to see her for himself, touch her for himself. Even the mangy Wolf had his chance with her, now it was his turn. She was pale, and fragile. Sleep clinging to her like a warm cloak, refusing to release her yet, and he was ok with that. He was sure once she saw him her fear would force Xander or the Wolf to put him back in his little corner until he could escape once more. Tracing her lines with a single finger he reveled in her silkiness, wondered what it would be like to have her arms stretched out, tied to the corners of the huge bed, craving the sight of the harsh ties against her creamy white skin. Craving a taste of her. As his finger ran up the side of her breast her body arched ever so softly towards him, welcoming him, wanting him.
As her eyes started to flutter, he dropped his hand until it was lightly resting on her tummy, pulling the tie of the robe free and letting it fall open. Then he waited.
Her eyes opened fully with a start, the Demon smiled his crooked grin down at her, half humored, half hungry as he stared.
"Good morning little Fae." His gruff voice drawled, his desire making it deeper than usual
I slept the sleep of the exhausted. Dreamless and deep, the kind that sucks you under in a warm blanket of blissful nothing, and awakens you in bits and pieces leaving you disorientated, as you climb out of its tight embrace.
Thick lashes softly fluttered open, as I tried to remember where I was, tried to determine if I was dreaming or awake. I felt a warm touch through the cotton of the oversized t-shirt and slowly a face came into focus, and the previous day began to return to my consciousness.
It took me a full minute though before the change in the familiar face registered in my brain and I realized it was neither green eyes or golden wolf eyes staring down at me. Instead eyes as black as obsidian met my own blues. I gasped in response, swallowing hard, feeling my heart beginning to pound in my chest, my subconscious finally understanding the darkness I had felt from him, it was staring down at me now.
He watches as her sleepy eyes stare up at him, her gasp as her body flinches against him bringing a satisfied smile to his face. The recognition passing through her eyes confusing him for a moment. Why was she not terrified, why was she mildly aware he had been here, watching through Xander’s eyes all along? He stared down at her a moment longer, leaving his hand lightly draped across her tummy as his desire began to rise.
"Xanthos" His reply short but came out in a throaty growl.
In an instant his hand went from her tummy to her hand as he grabbed them both and placed them above her head, looming over her with his huge, hard body. Desire written in the lines on his face, in the narrowing of his eyes as they locked on her like she was prey. Eating her was not the intent this time though, no He wanted to see her naked beneath him, back arching towards him, begging him for a touch.
I cried out startled as he moved quickly pinning me, his large body hovering over me, as his fingers wrapped with ease around my wrists holding them with no more effort than restraining a small child as I began to writhe beneath him.
Fear quickened my heart rate and caused my breath to come in gasps as I tried to move from beneath him.
"What..what are you doing? Let go of me now!"
He was much more of a mind to show her than to tell her, as her body writhed beneath his, brushing him with each turn of her small hips. Lowering himself onto her so some of his weight held her down he pressed his need into her, forcing her to acknowledge his excitement. As her eyes widened in shock and innocent confusion, he lifted himself back up off of her.
Xander was fighting his way out, sending the Wolf as backup and forcing the Demon back into his corner.
"We will play again sweet little Fae, of this I promise" His gravelly voice seeming to echo around the room before his eyes flashed and faded, as if he was never there at all.
I felt his hard length against my body, pressing to me, causing me to struggle harder, tears beginning to shimmer in my eyes threatening to spill over as comprehension flooded over me.
Before the words had shot from my mouth though he was lifting away, his eyes flashing back to the familiar green as his voice faded away.
"You could have warned me! A demon..you have a damn demon in you! Why didn't you warn me!!!"
I pounded against Xander's chest with my fists screaming at him through tears that now flowed down my face.
Regaining control of my body I threw myself off, allowing her flailing arms to beat against my chest as I settled beside her. Her tears flowing freely breaking me.
"I am so sorry Shaylee!" I whisper the words through her accusations
"You're right, I didn't. He's a part of me I would prefer to not be there. Normally I keep him at bay but I must have been more tired than I thought and he broke free. Not that that's an excuse...." I down cast my gaze as my thumb wipes at a tear clinging to her cheek.
"It won't happen again, I promise" I said trying to offer some sort of comfort, wanting to wrap her up in a protective embrace, yet it was this body that had betrayed her and I was unsure how well she was able to separate the two of us.
