Grace's eyes avoided look directly at the other. She was still shaken up from the entire experience and found herself not used to all this attention all at once. Her mind felt mostly focused on the injury despite it having been looked at and wrapped to prevent infection.

She had heard this voice from Leon's ear piece every now and then. This must be Sherry.

"Th-Thanks..." Grace spoke. She knows that Sherry just wants to check in on her, yet part of Grace wanted to push it away. As if she didn't deserve such a thing; even if she actually did.

it  doesn't  seem  that  long  ago  that  claire  met  the  small,  scared,  but  insanely  brave  sherry  birkin  all  those  years  ago.  now,  the  roles  have  became  reversed.  how life can be strange but wonderful.

‘ be  careful, ’  claire  groans  as  she  releases  the  pressure  from  her  wound  so  sherry  could  attend  to  it  properly.  she  looks  behind  sherry  to  ensure  of  her  own  safety.  if  it  ever  came  to  live  and  death  situation  between  them  both,  she'd  tell  sherry  to  go.

@shebirkin : [ SNACK ] - our muses make a 1am snack run to the nearest corner store / gas station.

"i usually try to not get too many snacks at once," was it their need to save money as much as possible, their old eating habits, or just being overwhelmed by all of options they had at their disposal? probably a mix of all three of those things, but they also couldn't remember the last time they went out like this with anyone. maybe in their teens..?

christ, that feels like a lifetime ago.

"but i like getting gummy stuff. twizzlers, worms, those frog-shaped ones that kinda stick to your teeth a little..." if this was any other time, under watchful eyes of government officials that hardly saw them as human, they wouldn't be so talkative.

but ally didn't have to worry about that right now. it was just them and sherry, who they didn't expect to see at this time of night. guess nocturnal behaviors just come with this line of work.

"what about you, miss?" just being polite, unsure if they're even on a first-name basis. "i didn't take you for someone who had a sweet tooth."
