Kiss prompt 9 for Emma and Alyssa?
Anonymous asked: 9, Emma and Alyssa if you’re still taking prompts please?
9. one small kiss, pulling away for an instant, then devouring each other
Alyssa felt like she spent a lot of time missing Emma. What with the fact that they went to colleges that were practically across the country from each other, and the fact that they both worked shitty jobs with long hours that didn’t pay anywhere near enough to pay for plane tickets, being together didn’t happen very often.
Sure they skyped frequently and talked on the phone nearly every night, but Alyssa still missed her girlfriend. She missed cuddling and kissing and falling asleep on the couch after movie nights. She missed Emma.
Alyssa was pulled out of her (pathetic) train of thought when her phone rang. She dug the offending phone from where it had slipped between the bed frame and the mattress of her tiny college dorm bed. The contact read Uncle Barry (She made the mistake of letting him set his own contact name), so Alyssa answered the call before one of her roommates got annoyed at the ringing.
“Alyssa!” Barry said the moment Alyssa picked up the phone, with the same enthusiasm as always. “Are you almost packed?”
“Yes” Alyssa closed the suitcase she had been staring at for the past 10 minutes and zipped it closed. After the whole prom debacle and a few instagram videos posted by Emma, Alyssa, and a good chunk of the queer teens in Indiana, the broadway starts reputations had improved exponentially. He and Dee Dee were currently starring in a new show that was going to open on broadway soon, they’d both asked (begged) Alyssa and Emma to come for opening since it fell during the holidays when neither of them had classes and could take off work. They were also paying for all the expenses so now Alyssa was on her way to the airport.
—–
After a miserable plane ride and getting lost twice, Alyssa was ready to sleep for hours when she got to Dee Dee’s apartment. Hopefully she wouldn’t be needed until closer to show time and no one would bother her while she took a nap. She was already excited to see Emma, but her girlfriend wouldn’t be arriving until four which gave Alyssa three hours to kill.
She finally arrived at the top floor where Dee Dee’s apartment was and knocked on the door before dropping her suitcase on the floor and leaning against the wall to rest for a second.
The door swung open to reveal Mr. Hawkins who was wearing an apron covered in flour. “Hello Alyssa”
Alyssa straightened and nearly dropped her phone in shock “Hey Mr. Hawkins” Seeing her old high school principal was unexpected to say the least. She knew that he and Dee Dee had a thing, but she could have swore he was still in Indiana.
“Please call me Tom” Mr. Hawkins- Tom requested “Come on in, everyone can’t wait to see you!”
He stepped aside and Alyssa pulled her suitcase in the door “Who’s everyo–” She was cut off when she entered the living room. Apparently everyone was, well everyone. Angie was sitting on the couch with Trent and they were chatting with Sheldon, Dee Dee was leaning in the doorway of what must be the kitchen and she could hear Barry’s voice coming from the other side of said doorway. “Hi”
Angie stood up as soon as she noticed Alyssa and pulled her into a tight hug, that was slightly awkward thanks to the ten inches she had on Alyssa’s height. “Alyssa! We’ve been waiting for you. How’s college?”
“Good” Alyssa could already feel herself relaxing, she hadn’t seen everyone in so long “A lot of homework”
“Alyssa?”
Alyssa turned around and froze when she found herself face to fact with her girlfriend she hadn’t seen in months. She ran forward and practically threw herself into Emma’s arms. Alyssa kissed her lightly on the lips and pulled away to examine her face. Emma had new glasses, and her hair was shorter than Alyssa remembered, but she still looked like Emma. She traced a finger over Emma’s cheek before pulling her in again for a better kiss. Emma deepened the kiss and Alyssa felt like all the puzzle pieces were clicking together.
Eventually they had to pull apart to breath and Alyssa’s brain finally caught up “You’re here! How?”
“What do you mean?” Emma asked, her hands running up and down Alyssa’s back, tracing down Alyssa’s arms until they were holding hands
“I thought your plane got in at four today” Alyssa explained, maybe Emma switched to an earlier flight?
“No it got in at four yesterday” Emma explained. Oh that made sense.
“We were just making cookies if you want to help” Barry offered.
Alyssa blushed when she realized that everyone was just standing around watching them. “Oh, uh”
“And by help he means stand off to the side and offer moral support” Emma interrupted knowingly.
“Hey, I’m not that bad at baking” Alyssa objected, she tried to look offended but probably failed, she was in too good a mood to look unhappy.

Sheldon Saperstein The Prom Musical Broadway Custom Funko
Four fading Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town Indiana prom—and the press is involved—they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. Now, Broadway’s brassiest are coming to join the fight and they are ready to kick-ball-change the world.
This was a weirdly complicated funko to paint because almost every color on his suit had to be hand mixed. The broadway agent uses Jay from Modern Family for his head and Odd Job from Goldfinger for his body.
I will take commissions to replicate this funko, please contact privately to discuss price as the market for the figures in which I make these out of can change wildly. Ask me about my etsy shop.
