Of course there were no guards, she had requested this as a favor from her daughter and that meant she had the area all to herself, this made it a lot harder to resist her request after all, but in truth she just wanted to try and make things open between them, in the recent months Catra had been nothing but wonderful, okay not quite that but she was working harder then anyone else to make herself the best she could be, and that meant far more to her then Catra would ever realize.

     The look on her face... it was priceless, but to do something      to someone they could closely think of as a friend. A side to      them paused in their strides to walk away from the scene.      What was this feeling? Normally they wouldn’t care for such      a response and do away with it, but to see the feline so broken.      It struck a cord with them. They paused in their steps, head      turning to glance over their shoulder to the feline that resided      on the ground in defeat.             ❛ Why am I doing this...? ❜          It was a question for their own ears as they turned to go back          to the cat. Without a word, they extended a hand to Catra,          eyes void of whatever emotion that decided to make itself          known to them. She had to hear it, otherwise their would only          be more heartache... That’s what the kept telling themselves.                              ❛ Now now, Kitten. Chin up. You’ve heard what            I had to say, there is no sense moping about it.                          Let us both get away from this place... ❜

    ‘ catra... ’  adora spoke up but paused abruptly. she knew the cat was stubborn. she knew that what she was about to say probably wouldn’t have the effect that she wanted it to. of course, that wouldn’t stop her from saying it anyway. ‘ if there’s anything important i’ve learned from meeting glimmer and bow.. it’s that - the three of us.. we’re stronger together. there’s no use doing stuff on your own. and now that i’m back here, with you.. there’s no need for you to do things by yourself anymore. ’

         “I know how to punch, Catra, doesn’t mean it’s really necessary at this moment. I’m not just going to run around and punch people that make me angry every time.” There was a huff from the blond as she gazed at Catra because of her violent nature. Not everything could be solved by hitting someone. While yes, Adora did use punching as a stress relief, it didn’t help in every situation.

“you’re not welcome here!” pearl barks as she grabs her spear and lunges at the other. the crystal gems have been fighting off the horde for years, but it never feels like they get anywhere. the horde always seems to come back stronger and with more advanced tech every time. regardless, she had made a promise to protect this planet and she would as long as it takes.
