Venom/Spiderverse AU::

In Gwen Stacey's Universe, or Miles's Universe (whichever works), Venom's host is a woman named Edna Brock. *she goes by Eddie because I don't care and you can't stop me.

She's less of an outright villain and more of a morally dubious vigilante. Eddie and the Venom symbiote go around eating rapists and sex traffickers on the daily. She and Venom don't believe in the court system or in letting the cops handle things. (They've eaten a few abusive cops, to top things off.)

She hates Gwen's Spiderwoman, or whoever, because they're a little more of the normal "eating people is wrong" mentality. Eddie feels that these guys had it coming.

How they look as Venom is more similar to how Our Eddie Brock looks. Giant. Muscular. Imposing. Not sexy and skinny like the She-Venom of the comics.

Eddie's job was being a TV reporter personality before she got Venom. Afterwards the two of them become basically hit men for a while until the Venom symbiote leaves her. Eddie's life is a spiral for a long while after that, but once she pulls herself together things go okay. She opens up a women's shelter and runs it with a few other people. When the symbiote comes back to her, they basically become the bodyguards of the shelter. It becomes a sort of sanctuary for anyone running from an abuser or attacker. They know if they go there, the giant terrifying alien woman will keep them safe. (And possibly eat whoever was after them, but thats beside the point.)

Obviously she and the symbiote are madly in love. That's a given. The symbiote is her partner in more ways than one.

Like I picture her at a bar, and some guy comes up like

"Hey, let me.buy you a drink."

She says, "I have a partner, actually. I'm not interested."

And he of course looks around and goes, "I don't see your boyfriend anywhere. Come on, it's just a drink."

Eddie takes another swig of her beer and says firmly, "Partner. And they're always with me. Go away."

When the guy still won't leave her alone, Venom finally forms and snarls at the man, "She said she was not interested. If you do not leave right now, we will eat you." And the guy screams, possibly shits himself, and runs away.

Venom retreats and Eddie sits at the bar and says a soft, "Thanks babe."
