THAT’S it, わ is definitely not a female sentence ending!!! This cool dude said it! My fifth grade (male) students in Tohoku said it! The 65-year-old visitor at work from Kansai said it yesterday!!! I still don’t understand why we were taught it was a female way of speaking!
