im not caught up w grammys but i truly am so happy for megan, she really deserved this! that being said, even though grammys is racist and whitewashed, people (read: black fans etc) are allowed to be happy that a black artist(s) is thriving despite black artists being snubbed of the achievements they deserve constantly. that's something that they’re allowed to celebrate without being told “but the grammys is racist-”. they know. the fact that a black artist is STILL achieving despite the systems being put in place to drag them down is something worth celebrating and if you’re undermining this because you’re bitter your fave didn’t win you’re racist

uhhhhhh im just gonna say smth. i dont think people who arent fat will ever understand the depth of fatphobia. like i know almost everyone (especially women) experience fatphobia to a certain extent even if they arent objectively fat but as someone who grew up fat it really pisses me off when those who arent and have never been try to compare our experiences like theyre the same
