The roaring engine and screeching wheels of a car made Jinki and Minho share a look, their faces twisting. They knew had turned up and weirdly enough, it was scary.
The door slammed open and Jiyong came rushing into the house taking no knowledge of the other people in his house. Sunhee looked up from her place on the couch, a pillow tucked under her back as she leaned against the armrest.
"Jiyong-"
"What happened?!" He was frantic, "Why hasn't anyone called an ambulance?! Is Jonghyun okay?"
He knelt down beside his wife, protectively cupping a hand over her stomach. When he felt a kick against his hand, Jiyong was somewhat happy. Sunhee grabbed his other hand.
"I'm okay, I think," She smiled, "I think I just pinched a nerve or something,"
"That's not okay!" Jiyong stared at her, "Sunhee!"
Meanwhile, the boys were staring at Sunhee's pregnant stomach with jaws slack and wide eyes. They both heard that correct, right? Sunhee nudged her husband softly, pointing to the guests in the house.
Jiyong looked at them and pursed his lips. He's been in such a panic to make sure Sunhee and the baby were okay that he didn't think. Swallowing thickly, Sunhee spoke up.
"Jinki, Minho-"
"You are naming him Jonghyun?" Jinki crossed his arms, slowly recovering, "Suns-"
She stopped him, "It's okay, it was Jiyong's idea if I'll be honest, I think it's sweet and meaningful that our son will be named after someone important,"
“I don’t think a name really matters right now, Why didn’t either of you take her to the hospital?!” Jiyong stared at them both in disbelief, “Seriously..,”
“I’m fine-”
As Sunhee tried to sit up off the couch, pain shot through her body and she whimpered, laying back down into her position. Jiyong shook his head softly, walking out of the room to call the personal doctor he’d hired for her.
Looking at the boys, Sunhee let out a sheepish smile as they both looked back at her.
“Well we certainly know your in capable hands,” Minho pointed out.
“You didn’t tell us you were naming him Jonghyun,” Jinki leaned against the couch, “Do Taemin and Kibum know?”
Sunhee shook her head, “It was going to be a surprise,”
“It’s nice, if anyone deserves to name their child after him it’s you,” Minho nodded, “I think the news is forgetting that he’s also your child too, not just G Dragon’s,”
“There’s nothing I can do about that, I knew it would happen when I married him,” Sunhee smiled, “We know who we are to each other and that’s what matters, outside voices don’t matter,”
“I’m glad you have that mindset because Kibum is going to freak out as soon as you tell him,” Jinki nodded.
Sunhee giggled, only for the pain to hit her body again. She let out a breath, placing her hand on her large stomach, shaking her head.
Synopsis: Sunhee struggles to find the perfect name for her unborn sun, Jiyong might just have the answer.
Flipping through the baby book, Sunhee pouted as she read through all the names. They were nice but none of them seemed to fit for her baby. Jiyong was laying next to her, one hand on her swollen tummy and the other scrolling through his phone.
Sunhee had spend the last six months of her pregnancy looking for the perfect name but nothing had come to her nor had she read anything. Jiyong noticed his wife's distress early on, he had a name choice but he didn't want to upset her in anyway. Now, he believed it was time to bring it up.
"Still looking for a name, jagi?" He asked, kissing her forehead.
"I can't find anything good, they're all so mundane and unoriginal," Sunhee sighed, "Nothing feels like it fits,"
Jiyong smiled softly, "I did have a name in mind,"
Her eyes lit up and she nodded, eager to hear her husband's input. Jiyong laid her down, sitting up and rubbing her stomach, placing soft kisses against the skin. Sunhee adored him like this, he was so eager about finally being a dad.
"I know you may cry when I suggest this," He explained.
"Jiyong..,"
Nodding, he got straight to the point, "He was important to you and you love him so much so I think it fits, but what about Jonghyun?"
Tears filled Sunhee's eyes the moment the name passed his lips. She'd thought about it before but never wanted to be seen as selfish if she picked it. Jiyong cupped her face and wiped her tears, kissing her forehead and cradling her close.
It was sad to bring it up yet the name fit perfectly.
"Would you really let me name him after Jonghyun?" Sunhee whispered.
"Of course," Jiyong nodded, "You love him, little sunshine, and you love our son, so it's perfect,"
Her hand rested on her stomach as Jiyong helped her sit up, in just two months they'd be meeting their son. Sunhee rubbed her tummy, sniffling softly.
"Jonghyun," She whispered.
A bit of pressure filled her stomach as the baby kicked against her hand, Sunhee couldn't help but laugh at her son's response. Jiyong touched her stomach too, he was proud of his little family.
Synopsis: Jinae celebrating her brother’s birthdays.
A/N: I know this scenario is like two days late but it’s here.
2005
“I don’t think it was a good idea that Eomma got you nail polish,” Jiyong muttered to himself.
He and Jinae were sat in his small dorm room, his hands spread out as his little sister tried to decide from a large range of nail polishes. Her tiny fingers picked up the most brightly coloured pink bottle in the collection.
“Thi’th one!” Jinae giggled as she unscrewed the lit.
Jiyong stared at the color as it was gooped onto his fingers, giving his eight year old sister a forced smile. It wasn’t a color he would have picked but it was for her, meaning he’d endure it.
“Do you like pink, agiyong?” Jiyong cooed softly.
“Nope,” Jinae answered as she painted his nails, concentrating, “I hate it,”
Staring at her, Jiyong blinked slowly.
“’th’o I u’th’e it on you to get rid of it!” Jinae looked up at him with a large smile, a few of her front teeth missing, which made her lisp more prominent.
Gathering her in his arms, Jiyong tickled her sides, Jinae squealing with laughter and trying to kick him away. There was no way she could succeed, instead hugging him around the shoulders.
“Yongie?” Jinae looked at him.
“Yes?”
“Happy Birthday,”

“What do you give someone who has everything?” Jinae asked.
“Something they don’t have?” Lisa answered her.
Frowning, Jinae slammed her head on the desk in front of her and let out a frustrated sigh. Her brother’s birthday was tomorrow, she’d been so busy with training that she never got him a birthday present.
“Make something for him, that way you know he doesn’t have it,” Lisa stated.
“I’m not eight anymore,” Jinae looked at her friend, “I don’t even know if I want to give him anything,”
“Oh, why?”
Jinae didn’t know if she could say this out loud, she looked around the room to make sure no one was with them. She even got up and checked all the windows and outside of the door, making sure they were alone. Closing the door and locking it, she walked back over to Lisa and whispered.
“He has a girlfriend,”
Lisa gasped, “Really?”
Nodding, Jinae sat down on the bed, “I don’t like her, Jiyong follows her around like a lost puppy and it’s so obvious that she’s using her,”
“Maybe your just being a jealous little sister?” She asked, “I mean, Jiyong used to always give you attention until-”
“He started dating Kiko!”
“So what will you do?” Lisa asked her.
“Well, I’m going to bed,” Jinae pointed out and slumped on her bed, “I’ll be too busy with training anyway,”
2013
Anxiety was deep in Jinae’s blood, after the survival show, she was scared of nearly everything. Even facing her own brother apparently. She fumbled with her hands as she stood at the end of the hallway of his studio, feeling like crying and throwing up.
Tomorrow was his birthday, which was technically three minutes away. So in three minutes, Jinae had to swallow her anxiety and knock on the door of the studio. Her knees buckled and her palms filled with sweat.
She didn’t even get three minutes because after one, the studio door opened and her brother walked out. Jinae couldn’t run away, he’d already seen her. Jiyong approached her, noticing the pale look on her face.
“It’s midnight,” He pointed out, “Why are you here?”
“H-h-h-happy B-bir-day-” Jinae stuttered out, her throat dry.
Smiling, Jiyong wrapped her in a hug and Jinae physically relaxed. He pat her hair and looked down at her.
“Always got to be the first one,” Jiyong chuckled.
“I didn’t get you anything,” Jinae frowned.
“It’s okay,” He pulled away, “Come on, I’m going home, your coming,”
Slinging his arm over her shoulders, Jiyong walked with his sister down the hallway. Jinae smiled at herself, the nerves slowly disappearing.
2017
It was sad to think about, Jinae didn’t want to think about it at all really. It was her brother’s last year of freedom, next year he would be enlisting into the military and then it was goodbye for two years.
Even with both their packed schedules, the day was important, even if it wasn’t that day for him. He was somewhere in America or Japan, Jinae couldn’t quite remember and she was in the studio working late, having been up since four in the morning.
But even as she crawled into bed next to Hanbin, the leader of her group fast asleep and snoring away. Jinae tapped a quick text messege into her phone before sending it, smiling to herself.
Happy Birthday Yongie!
Hanbin rolled over and she clicked her phone screen off, his arms wrapping around her body and pulling her closer.
“It’s early,” Hanbin whined.
“It’s two,” Jinae yawned and cuddled him back, “I just got into bed,”
“Hmm,” He kissed her forehead.
2024
“Sunhee!” Jinae jumped up and down, “He’s going to freak out,”
“I know,” She laughed softly and patted her sister in law’s head as they were in the kitchen of the house, “But shh,”
Their mother and father were sat at the table, Dami to the left and Jiyong sitting at the head of the table. Jinae was a bundle of excitement as she sat down, all of them handing their presents over.
Sunhee sat next to her husband, hugging his arm and smiling as she handed him the small box. Jiyong smiled fondly, opening the lid, before confusion crossed his face.
“It’s a dummy?” He asked, picking up the blue colored baby item, “I don’t get it,”
“You will in nine months,” Dami added on.
Blinking and staring at it curiously, Jiyong was confused. Jinae couldn’t help but burst into a fit of giggles, she knew he brother was smart but he was a dumbass sometimes. Even her parents were giggling.
“Are you trying to say your divorcing me?” Jiyong narrowed his eyes.
“I’m trying to say I’m pregnant,” Sunhee giggled, “You can be so dense, Kwon Jiyong,”
Sunhee looked up, staring at her ex fiancé, Donghae had a troubled look on his face. He was staring at the floor, pouting with his arms crossed over his chest. A part of her felt bad, after all, she was married now and had moved on. That left Donghae in the wind.
“You were yourself,” Sunhee explained, “You didn’t try to be someone you weren’t,”
There was a sad look now. Donghae had a large mix of emotions, if he told his younger self that he and Sunhee ended up like this, his younger self would have punched him.
“Do you think things would be different if I tried to keep you with me?” He asked, “I mean if I didn’t let you drift so far from me, would we be married now?”
“Maybe but I don’t think I would be happy,” She stated, “We loved each other, Donghae, I really did love you but if the universe wanted us to stay together, we would have,”
“I think the universe is cruel because I still love you,” Donghae sighed, “But I’m not angry, I’m happy your happy,”
She smiled, “You love me but you’re not in love with me, there very different, I think you’re in love with someone else,”
Donghae swore Sunhee was a mind reader, somehow she always knew him and his feelings or thoughts. When they were together, it was like Sunhee always showed up whenever he needed something or needed her, even if he didn’t know it.
“Heechul talks a lot,” Sunhee explained, making Donghae nod slowly, “Ex-wonder girl’s member?”
“I should have seen that coming..,” Donghae nodded.
“Although you never got drunk on our first date,” Sunhee pointed out, “Are you okay?”
His face went red and Donghae let out a sheepish laugh. It was only slightly embarrassing when people pointed it out.
“My pride is a little bit wounded but I’ll recover,” He laughed to himself more so than to Sunhee, “She’s a drinker, that’s for sure, very different from you,”
Sunhee shook her head, “Alcohol is gross, I’ll never understand how Jiyong drinks so much wine,”
Silence fell again and Sunhee sighed. Donghae ran his fingers through his hair, it was only the tiniest bit awkward now, the ring on her finger seemed to stand out a little bit more to him than it did before. It hurt but she was happy.
Before he could leave, Sunhee spoke.
“I want you to be happy, Donghae,” Sunhee explained, “I want the best for you and if this girl is it, I don’t want you to be afraid to show your real self to her,”
He gave her a warm smile, nodding and walking away.
