What’s not to be happy about, nonny? This chapter gave us so many gifts: Kaneki and Touka escaping Mutsuki and Aura, reappearance of Takizawa seemingly doing decently, mention of my main man Tatara, Urie slagging off Furuta in his parentheses, and a TOUKEN KISS with annotations confirming reciprocal feelings and the promise of more next chapter! This chapter basically cured my illness holy crap

R-kun, really liked this nickname!!😁 Honestly your analysis of Touka losing her ability to bear children freaked me out o_o I mean I began to imagine her losing some of the confidence she had built through her talk with Kaneki, and Ishida-sensei showing us how kids loved her ;-; Even though the idea is scary, still it is the most appealing and realistic one I have read about that cover page. I just hope Kaneki doesn't blame himself whatever the outcomes are, Great insights you have as always.

I’m sorry I traumatised you - when I was writing that, I was so relieved that I’d found a way for Touka to survive that it was only after I published it that I realised how incredibly dark it is o.o’. If this theory turns out to be no more than a product of my twisted imagination, I blame Ishida for corrupting me to this point :p. 

If it does happen, it will rattle Touka to her core, and she’s going to be very miserable for a time, especially if she ends up isolated from the rest of Goat. Kaneki will definitely blame herself, but Touka will snap him out of it on their reunion. With Kaneki, Yomo, Ayato and Hinami by her side, she will recover. I also like to think that by the end of the series, against her expectations, her womb will have regenerated…but if not, the series is still crawling with orphans up for adoption.

Woah, I just had a thought. What if the womb thing doesn’t happen at :re, but if Touka is captured and tortured by Mutsuki and maybe Shinsanpei (without the majority of the CCG’s knowledge), and Kaneki and co. go to save her only to find she’s already defeated Mutsuki when she saves Kaneki? Like the reverse of the first series’ Aogiri arc? That would certainly prove her abilities. I’m not so sure that Arata is still alive, but if he is, then if she’s taken to the depths of the CCG she would probably find him there. And since Kanou’s working there now…maybe…we’ll get Yoshimura back in time for the Raid parallel? WAIT! What if the raid parallel is not a raid on the now-empty :re but a raid by the new Anteiku on the CCG?! That would be the perfect mirror! And if the series is nearing it’s end, it would totally make sense. God damn if this doesn’t happen I might just fanfic this.

Other than Touka, who do you think will be in Kaneki's group? Honestly, I think that the Qs, Suzuya and Ito (still iffy on Takeomi because of wanting to find Touka for Yoriko) will be with Mutsuki and 122 cliffhanger was mostly just for shock. Saiko will pop out from behind going "Maman". And they will join Kaneki because they don't trust Furuta and we all know what Mutsuki and Arua are up to

Don’t really think so, given the *ahem* unique nature of Mutsuki’s goals, I doubt she would want anyone around to see them, save for perhaps Shinsanpei as their goals mostly align. Also, we haven’t seen any signs of communication between Mutsuki and the other Quinx since Takeomi asked her to investigate, and that was only a chapter before she showed up at :re - I don’t really see a potential time interval for that to happen. 

I’m not sure Kaneki’s original plan to split up :re will carry through because I think Mutsuki is going to abduct Touka next chapter, thus forcing Goat into War Mode where they have to be a single solid unit to enact a raid on the CCG. I think the purpose of including the initial plan was to mirror Kaneki’s disbanding of his group in the original manga and to give an extra tragic edge to Mutsuki finding them because they were so close to getting away.

When the CCG dissidents do defect, I think it will be during the Goat raid on the CCG.

Do you have some headcanons for the new Quinx members (relationship wise)?

First time with the new Quinx!

Shinsanpei:

He prefers partners that have a calm energy because otherwise he gets too nervous around them. He generally falls for people who are straightforward and consistent in their behaviour and ideas. 

He’s not really good at relationships, so he often thinks he messed up even if there’s nothing serious going on and he worries way too much.

Higemaru:

He’s afraid to show them all the parts of himself and acts a bit fake sometimes. 

He wants all their attention on him and gets quite jealous when he doesn’t have it, so he will get really cuddly suddenly or turn into perverted measures to get it back.

Ching-Li:

She would be with someone as athletic and strong as her, the rivalry between them would cause tension that would end up evolving into attraction.

She would find it really hard to admit her feelings but when she starts a relationship she would get really attached to them quickly.
