he hadn’t exactly thought of meeting shinsou so close after that training drill and deep inside he still felt rather grateful. he was slowly staring to get a good grasp on these new powers and only the future would be able to tell him how much more he had to learn when it came to this quirk. “ shinsou-kun! “ he greeted cheerfully, hand waving as he ran over to the other male. “ your quirk really helped me a lot there. s-so i wanted to thank you again. once i’ve got a good grasp of these new powers, we should totally try it again! “ he gave the other male a shy smile. shinso had mentioned a few times that he wasn’t interested in friends or socializing in general, but izuku liked shinsou too much to just step away now.

“ you got plans for today? if not... we could check out the city and get something to eat. “ he didn’t expect an euphoric ‘ yes ‘ or for shinsou to go ahead, but izuku felt more than sympathetic. a more thorough conversation would surely benefit the both of them.

Lowering the plate she nods, her hasty waddle turning into a softer walk as she watched him take one of the cookies from the platter. Pale cheeks dusted with excitement as Eri’s small smile grew twice its size at the compliment. 

It was the first time she had ever attempted to make cookies.

First-time she was allowed to do anything really. Ever since the heroes, Mirio and Deku had rescued her Eri found herself in a place of enchantment. Fear distant and a bad nightmare.

“Th-thank you. Did you really like it? I think I added a lot of salt..”

“Aizawa-Sensei didn’t say it, but he made a face.” She proceeds to attempt and mimic the tired Pro - Hero’s expression, tugging down under her eyes. “Like this, but tired.”
