I MADE THREE VERSIONS: the first (left) is at their youngest, then (moving to the right) is just abt after lovilia died, then the last is when the story starts in canon! (ik julius is the only one the reaches his early 40s but idgaf…) (also i need to get better at drawing older people shhhhh ik)

also he has a scar on da lip (may or may not be based on a fic where he got punched… but also idk somebody HAD to have punched him a few times.. this man is petty af also cmon he’s like the highest form of military he can have teeny scar)
i do think he’d relaxed with age tho… less petty, also he’s never escaping slight makeup for as long as i draw him (he lazy in the oldest design though. grandpa tired)

ANYWAY, teal alt. for the middle design (sorry he’s not maintaining that when he’s older… he’s alr a diva— also just realized i didnt acknowledged the facial hair yet.. idk i just associate him with werewolves so he can have a lil hair— but i wanted to make a teal alt since it’s super recognizable trait, aside from the outfit, even though if he lived on he wouldn’t have gotten the teal since he only got it after being sealed in time for 10yrs, but, i like it he can dye his hair stupid emo)
ok onto lovilia
first yes short haired farm girl CANON, she felt it was easier (+ it reminds me of maggie from TWD in the earlier seasons :)) but i think she grew out her hair for her wedding, and let it continue to grow since she knew she was getting older, and thus, had less time to grow it out if she cut it back short! also im aure she thinks longer hair is cute, she just used to be lazy (braid in middle one, tied back in oldest (right) one)
also neither conrad OR lovilia are escaping the makeup headcanon (hers is less noticeable though!) , they also both stop dealing with it when they are older THEY HAVE A KINGDOM TO RUN AND A BLONDE TO EIFFEL TOWER!!!!

-since conrad is one of the few more physical fighters we have— despite magic potential (since, as seems with asta, it’s associated more with people who have to work hard due to weakness), i think conrad probably got into it due to his magic type being shunned, and he developed a shame for it for a time (also connects to an ask abt headcanons i got a few months ago where i said “he scuffled when he was younger” GOTTA HATE YOUR MAGIC EARLY!!)
-i subscribe to the julius piano player headcanon, and i think it would be cute if conrad/conrad and lovilia had a little music box with piano music they would sometimes listen to if he was away
-lastly, ik when they were both serving as captains, conrad and julius were the most DISTRACTING mfs in that meetin (mostly julius tho, he has no off button bro)
