i know what they were trying to say but it’s so easy to read it differently

i think what they were trying to do was rouge being like “haha yeah of cooouurrse you’re totally not friends” sarcastically to tease shadow that hes getting closer to sonic (already pretty gay)

but the way i like to read it, rouge has gaydar and is saying, “dude i don’t think you realize yet but you and sonic are acting way too gay to just be friends” and then shadow doesn’t deny it.
